Don't think she would do all that just for an old friend. He is not that special... maybe she is there for upcoming projects or just "networking" who knows
Between this and Cannes she’s very likely pitching scripts and talking to producers and directors. You don’t go to these things just as a good friend. She’s clearly working on stuff in the background like she’s said previously. It’s about whether or not we eventually see it and I hope we do.
Like Cannes we probably won’t find out publicly why shes there as if she’s working on something in early development stage it won’t be announced
I really really doubt she was at Cannes solely for Hassan. She was likely also taking meetings herself. Most of the movie business gets done at festivals and only a tiny proportion of it is selling rights to made film. Lots of it is development funding.
It’s really positive that she’s there. Clearly not retired.

I think there was a mistake. It's Emily Watson not Emma Watson who is listed. I suppose people read too quickly.

I doubt she would give any interviews or make any official statements, she didn’t in Cannes. Hopefully she’ll be networking for a project she’s doing (hopefully that’s also what she was doing in Cannes). But just because a news outlet claims she’ll be there doesn’t mean she’ll show up (like Vouge World)

The Vogue World thing was weird, she was the one who said she'd be there in an "In The Bag" Vogue interview. That was right before the stalker showed up at the New York Fashion Show demanding to see her though.

To be fair her stalker crashed an event she was at like a week before Vogue World… so I can see why she didn’t go. Which is sad, because she seemed happy to attend the event in the “What’s in my bag” video she filmed as a part of the promo leading up to it.

Sorry Eden, but yes it was a mistake on other websites. As I said earlier it's Emily Watson not Emma Watson. I mean she is back in western Europe after the festival in Nevada so it would have been weird she leaves again to go to Canada.

I would like to thank Eden for running this blog. You do a really good and interesting job. I’ve been a fan of Emma since 2014, and she still inspires me. People can complain about the lack of new projects as much as they like, but given Emma’s story - her obsession with ordinary life and privacy is very understandable, and as a person, I would prefer that Emma lead a quiet life and stop being a public figure, than to relive the hell that her fans and paparazzi did. Stalking, harassment, constant bullying by the press and film critics. Raspberry nom was a total joke, i`m telling you. So thanks for not giving up and i hope she will return in cinematograph in most safety and comfortable for her way.

Fun fact. At the start of her career with HP, some media publications were referring to her as Emily and not Emma as a gesture of giving her a stage name that suited her personality looks etc etc. but she completely misunderstood the situation and even became upset when they called her Emily instead of Emma.
In an interview she herself vented out a frustration regarding this naming situation .
If it’s false, why did she follow more Hollywood people?
Hard to say why she does anything really. She followed a bunch of child actors two years ago, that never amounted to anything (she still follows them).
