Emma Watson in new 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' set report [November 2004]

[Version française]

It seems Mike Newell is following in Alfonsos Cuaron’s Footsteps by Filming [at least part of] the Goblet of Fire at Virginia Water Lake in Surrey England. [...] It wasn’t long before we spotted Emma Watson. Wearing a pink shirt and beige trousers, nothing odd there. But as she came off set she put on a mask, and proceeded to play conkers with a friend. Mask? How serious are Warner brothers about protecting their cast from conkers? Or could it be they are worried about snaps appearing in tomorrows ‘Sun’ or tabloid. It doesn’t make much sense for the whole cast to walk around in masks, so it probably was a ‘safety’ precaution, as it was only her wearing what could best be described as a welding/blowtorch mask.
