Very surprised Eden says that. As someone commented. There is no credible evidence as to whether she still is or isn’t studying at Oxford. Zero. Oxford isn’t a campus university, it is spread out all over the city. So she’s simply in cafe etc not in a “campus” one. People are seeing her in town. She has an house there and her mum lives there.
And you can use the college libraries as a former student. When people also say she’s studying she could be literally be working on almost anything on a laptop or in a notepad.

I doubt she doesn't receive offers. I think she's just extra picky. I think she has a very clear idea of the type of roles she wants and the type of people she wants to work with and she won't settle for any less.
I don't know if it was ever confirmed but the rumor was that Emma had already decided to step away from acting before Little Women and only accepted the role of Meg as a favor to Amy Pascal. If that's true then it'd definitely be more a case of her being selective.

Jessie Buckley is a really good actress but that whole story about her then boyfriend’s cat is rubbing a lot of people the wrong way. And Margo is also a good actress but keeps getting dragged more and more due to the projects she’s been putting out lately. With some of them bombing despite having a stacked cast of A and B listers. I think it might be because people are getting tired of seeing the same 30 actors and actresses in EVERY blockbuster or remake… Also if Margo really is going to be the female version of American Psycho it would be the second (technically third) remake/retelling of a book where the main underlying themes don’t work due to casting choices.

I do not think she lacked offers. After Harry Potter she starred in major films like The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Noah, Beauty and the Beast, and Little Women. Beauty and the Beast alone made more than $1 billion at the box office, which shows studios know she brings audiences.
She has also said many times that she wanted to focus on other things such as university and activism. She had many other projects and interests, so she was never lost or dependent only on acting. She had a strong base in other areas as well. After listening to her podcast, it also seems clear that many experiences influenced her decision to step back. It does not look like acting itself made her stop, but the environment around it. She may simply prefer a more human and balanced life, and at that level of Hollywood things can become very ruthless.

I haven't listened to them in a long while but I do enjoy them.
I found something interesting that I wanted to share. Someone mentioned Gregor Vancor earlier, and I actually have one of his poetry collection books. The title is 'Kukutyin dalnokának versei', which translates to 'Poems of the Minstrel of Kukutyin'. I found this link which serves as proof that the poem dedicated to Emma officially exists:
