The issue is that she wants to control everything, and in her career, control is her worst enemy. She’s just too analytical for art.
She does not have to do anything she does not want to. If she chooses to be selective, that is her right. She is right to protect her peace and make her own choices.

With all the love and respect I have for Emma, I don’t think she’s a strong actress. In fact, it’s surprising how, film after film, she became more and more inexpressive and flat. I’m talking about her post Harry Potter work.
For me, her performance in the last Potter films was very good. She was also solid in Perks and The Bling Ring. But beyond that, she hasn’t really done anything particularly remarkable or widely acclaimed. It feels like she never fully moved past her potential.
I think it would be great for her to return with something like a comedy. In her recent dramas, she often comes across as having just one expression, very stiff. That’s something that really stands out to me, because she’s actually quite expressive in real life. But in films like Colonia and The Circle, for example, she felt almost completely flat.
I don’t know, I’d rather see her focus on writing or directing. As an actress, she feels quite limited, and I worry that if she comes back without significant improvement, critics will be very harsh on her.

She managed to breathe life and charm into characters as two dimensional as Meg March. I’d like to see her act in a thriller. But I also expect that her acting return will be a drama. Not necessarily, lots of people jump straight into a directing a feature film and don’t do other things first. I think Emma has been sensible in starting off small but that doesn’t mean she has to continue to do that
Yes disillusioned with some aspects of the industry and wanting to create her own path instead and doesn’t care how long that takes her. Deeply disinterested, absolutely not.
She doesn’t want to be cast by traditional means. I think she’s made that very clear. She wants to work only with certain people, that list might be open to change from time to time but she’s not pursuing casting calls.
Why doesn't anyone know that she took on Little Women as a way of thanking Amy Pascal? It wasn't even in her plans to begin with, because someone withdrew(everyone knows who). Her reason for agreeing was not to participate in the tour, which was stipulated in a pre-signed contract, it wasn't that she quit at the last minute because she didn't want to participate. Perhaps the director and other actors didn't consider her an ideal choice, but she got along well with them on set and there was absolutely no drama. Stop spreading rumors.
Industry made some progress for people like emma but back peddled so hard back to square one last few years, that would crush anyone.

I think there are more roles now for the likes of Emma than there were before. The industry now seems more interested in slightly reserved, complex and intelligent women. Those were few and far between before. So fingers crossed.

It doesn’t really matter who you are… but 3 months isn’t that long of a time for a relationship. It’s just weird to me how much they’re insisting on the “love of her life” angle when it comes to writing about this relationship. Like at least wait until they’re together for longer than what her usual relationships last before you assume he’s the love of her life.

What blind? I’m not seeing anything. If it is true, I wouldn’t be surprised. However, I’m surprised she’d get with someone like that in the first place. Then again, the Brandon Green relationship and how long it lasted surprised me. Especially since it was reported that it was “serious”.
Tabloids always do that, especially with Emma. They also say that couples “can’t wait to get married or have kids” when in reality, they’re just dating. Emma is different in that we and the internet all know that she’s not looking to settle down yet, but what they do for her is exaggerate how “serious” a relationship is. They did the same thing with Leo, but he was more normal in that we didn’t get his identity until April of ‘20 when they were first spotted in Italy that past October (?), so 6 months is better and more promising than 3 months. If it is true, then I’m not surprised. This doesn’t seem like it’s meant to be long-term. People previously mentioned that this could be a fling. Gonzalo seems pretty based in Mexico while Emma likes to travel around. The article about them even said that they both have busy schedules and other commitments, but were working on forming a natural relationship.
People didn’t even know who that Gonzalo guy was, and now they think they can know something about him when his Instagram account is private. Since nothing more is known about this relationship because both keep it private, very jealous people try to sabotage Emma however they can and attempt to link her to every absurd rumor.
I also saw that blind… To be honest I’ve never understood why the people who send in blinds like that don’t just tell the person that it’s about that their partner has someone on the side. It’s always left me feeling uncomfortable allegedly knowing something like that about a strangers private life. I don’t know which way the blind about Emma and Gonzalo leans towards… But as a recent example of blinds for celebrity relationships that wasn’t true… Would be them insisting that Tom and Zendaya weren’t together and that they didn’t fuck with each other like that. Those type of blinds only stopped appearing less than two months ago. Because they confirmed the engagement and are potentially married already.

It's so funny how tabloids and magazines who fell for the AI images from the Mexican source are now desperately trying to cover up their failure by blatantly omitting and cropping out any indication of Derek Blasberg and Jay Shetty being with Emma at the recent events. The Daily Mail got completely sacked by reality at the Oscars, Elle is still keeping up the fight against the truth, and so on the list gets long...
I’m not that anon but seeing how some sights post blinds about people’s private relationships more than others… My best guess is either “Enty Lawyer” or Crazy Days and Nights. I’d take anything they say with a more than just a pinch of salt though. Both of their track records when it comes to celebrities relationships are 50/50.

Yeah, those kissing pictures either seems staged or pre-approved by either of them. Usually, Emma gets peeved and annoyed when she’s caught kissing her BFs, but in those pictures, they looked like they knew they were there.
