How can you build a strong relationship with someone when you are just starting to date and taking the first steps, and suddenly the whole world knows about it and everyone has their own opinion? Even in normal situations, when you meet someone and do not really know them yet, it is already difficult if friends and family have opinions.
Also, many bad things are happening in different countries, but the reality is not always the same as what the news and media show to the rest of the world. Mexico is huge. For example, right now many people around the planet think we are almost half dead where I live, but for the moment we are still fine, as if nothing is happening.

The sad truth is, there is almost no such thing as an ethical rich person. Especially one whose money comes from business. Even assuming no corruption or labor abuse (which is not actually possible to avoid) all business in our system requires the extraction of resources and human labor at the lowest and most efficient price. To be competitive, you have to cut corners and hurt people, all to gain far more reward than any one person could possibly deserve.
An actor is actually one of the few exceptions, because her money comes from her personal labor and the creation of art, which has intrinsic value. And even then, Emma has put her name on beauty products built on empires of animal experimentation and sweatshops.
I'm not saying this to beat up on Emma or her choice of partners. It's just the water in which she swims. All money in our system is dirty money. Emma at least tries to give back more sincerely than just givin to charity for a tax break.

So if a song coming from a scorned ex is the only bad thing anybody can find on him then maybe he’s not that bad. Not to be that person but I remember when he started dating Belinda and everybody was trying to find dirt on him. And nobody found anything remotely bad about him. I’m not defending his family’s classism by any means. But to fair I understand them being wary of Belinda. Given how publicly some of her relationships and breakups have played out, and having been called a golddigger by more than just one ex doesn’t necessarily help her case either. And yes I’m well aware that she built her brand and networth by herself from ground zero. And that she has worked her ass off for her money. But I will admit I appreciated how Gonzalo and his family never made any negative comments about her even after her song came out (yes, I know the bar is in hell). There’s no evidence he’s unethical. The families money from his great grandfather originally came from silver mining. His grandad really took them further and diversified into insurance, cattle, fashion and luxury alongside it. Gonzalo’s mother is running the fashion and luxury side. He could have easily entered that or the family business but has chosen to run his own companies and though of course he’s had a massive head start he’s done extremely well at that. He seems a switched on guy and got himself good grades and is ambitious. His logistics company is valued at over 100 million now. And his investment company seems to be doing very well. He’s not just living the nepo baby coasting off his parents life.

AI investment is always unethical for two reasons:
1. The technology is extremely wasteful of water and other resources. It's terrible for the environment.
2. Even AI that doesn't plagiarize art can still make terrible mistakes that can cost jobs and even lives. So even if he invests in like, shipping logistics AI, it can screw up and ruin weeks or even months of orders. Everyone working down the chain will get fired, but not the CEO who implemented a flawed AI solution.
But all that pales in comparison to what mining conditions were and still are. That is extremely dirty money. The only way to be the ethical grandson of a mine owner is to give away 90% of the money your family squeezed out of your laborers, back to their families.
AI is glittery and pixie dust compared to the ways mine owners exploited their workers. In Mexico at least as much as the US.
