Ukraine

Hi!

I was waiting for Emma to post something so I wouldn't end up with two posts back to back about the war but she hasn't yet and I don't know if she will though I do believe that'll happen at some point. I didn't want two posts back to back because I started blogging about Emma for escapism and I'm sure others also use it as such. But I really want to share some donation links that are reliable and ask you what kind of Emma related things you would want me to post. I keep up with the news and it's horrifying, terrifying and distressing and I really feel the need to ignore reality for even just a little moment every day as I'm privilege enough to be able to do so right now. And if I can help some people to do the same with some silly, meaningless Emma content, please let me know. Maybe gifs? Short videos? Throwbacks? Any themes or ideas you have in mind? Just leave a comment.

In the meantime, here are a few donation links. I was only able to give 20€ for now (I really had the worst timing to buy a new phone and a hard drive) but they say every euro/dollar/pound... counts. Don't feel bad if you can't right now though, you do have to be able to put food on the table and pay your bills.

Don't hesitate to share more donation links too.

As Polish, who are somehow involved in that terrible situation I must say I am very disappointed with lack of voice from Emma. I don't wanna sound like hater in this difficult time but I found Emma activism more and more selective and comfortable.

Good effort Eden.

To Yaroslav and everyone else caught in the tragedy that is unfolding, trite to say, but our thoughts are with you.

Still nothing from Emma on the situation in Ukraine.

Kering have shut their two shops in Russia and are making a donation to the UNHCR.
Similarly their individual brands (eg Gucci)are also making aid donations.

So it's not her Board position that is holding her back.

I find it surprising and disappointing that she hasn't even posted a link to sites seeking donations.

I highly doubt it's necessary to make a public statement. I mean, given her intellect, I'm pretty sure where she stands. No need to go out with politics. Slovakia here, helping as much as we can, not sure how long will this entusiasm last though. Human race is generally stupid. I hope I'm wrong.

Disappointing Emma never mentioned us once in all this time :(

Emma Watson has a pattern and practice of using her star power to bring attention to issues that concern her. Emma has been silent and given her track record on human rights activism, it really is unforgivable.

It's unfortunate, but it seems to be the case that Emma Watson does not care about Ukraine or the Ukrainian people.
