Why are there hardly any pictures of Emma, Daniel and Rupert? Surely they go shopping etc so must be seen by people
I always thought Emma looks better in her daily clothes than her flock.
Some celebrities are just really good at keeping out of sight. Tom Holland and Zendaya are rarely seen out unless they're at an event or something and they're two of the biggest stars right now.
Can someone explain to me what happened between her and Brendan in 2023?
We don’t know what happened other than that they broke up but we don’t know the exact details or the exact date. The last time they were seen publicly together (correct me if I’m wrong) and showing PDA was august 2022 when they were in Venice together. They were not seen out together since then and it was assumed they they had broken up. Emma got a lot of heat for dating him because of his fathers business dealings and that was maybe why they broke up
They were just seen together once in LA and at a concert (same day) which he wasn’t even at for the whole time… so I’d probably say nothing… Alex seems to know him though

Sometimes I wonder why do I love a person that I don’t hear or see much of like other people.. like I hear and see so many updates on my other favorite actors. When we do get an update on EW I cherish it. I guess it’s good they get the privacy they want and deserve. I’m happy EW flew to the US without paparazzi in her face.

What do you mean? Any infatuation she had with him was when she was a child! She just sees him as a friend now or she would never be so public about it, Emma is completely private when it comes to anyone she’s romantically involved in. I think Tom Felton realised what he’d missed out on when he broke up with Jade! But I don’t think Emma was interested romantically by that time, she just rallied around him to help him recover from his breakup and addictions - she’s an amazing friend. I think he’ll always be a bit in love with her now, but I don’t think she feels the same. I think it was a right person but wrong time thing with them the whole way along, liking each other when the other wasn’t in that place!
Tom has been with his girlfriend Roxanne for at least 5 years, living together for 4 (he’s pretty carefree though so I’m not certain he’ll ever marry) I think Emma will find marriage with a CEO or professional and lead a quiet happy life… what do you all think?

Rupert was a guest of Ed Sheeran at a recent soccer match in England.
Both appeared onscreen.
Rupert had his baseball cap pulled down over his eyes and was wearing sunglasses.
Sheeran no 'disguise' whatsoever.
Both easily recognisable.
It did make me wonder why Rupert bothered as they were in the posh seats and with all due respect I do think Sheeran is the much bigger star these days.
uk media have really turned on the hp stars like rupert and love writing negative articles on him and the others probably wanted to avoid that (recently they have been calling him a tax fraud for having to pay back 2million he owed to the tax man and they loved dragging him)

Kieran has now been designated a post award member at Oxford meaning he’s now got his PhD but has elected or been offered to stick around for a bit. I wonder if he hopes to get a full time lecturer job next academic year.

Several places I’ve read supposedly he said, “She was too early and I was too late.”
I love that she’s very supportive of those she adores.
Sometimes I do think that deep deep inside there is still some spark there, but neither one will let it out.
I love that she is private even though I’d love for to constantly post Instagram updates like many other celebrities do. (I think I’d love to see her photographs of all the places she goes to.. not necessarily selfies and shots with friends.)

Sorry this is long! I had a blog back in the day and have some of it saved - I’ll just add it here.
I totally agree with the reply above. I think Emma fell for Tom too early when she was just a little girl really with stars in her eyes, and he wasn’t interested then, she was almost 3 years younger and he was 13 whilst she was ten and a half! He was coming into his own, growing in confidence, becoming famous. Flick Miles (Emma’s body double) in her podcast says he was the ‘heartthrob’ of the young actors, same thing Jason Isaacs says too when he started playing Lucius, that he was a little star! I think Tom did actually see Emma as a little sister then - there’s a funny interview where he describes Emma desperately wanting to show some of the kid actors a dance she’d made up! He says him, Crabbe and Goyle (who thought they were so cool) dragged themselves down to watch and laughed at poor Emma :( bless her I can just imagine her little face!! I think it was just a usual age difference thing, as that gap is huge as kids.
Flick Miles also mentions that ‘everyone fancied each other’ and judging by photos from that era it’s pretty obvious that Tom was into Flick around 2023. There were lots of pictures of them in groups and pics of them by themselves with Tom smiling at her! At the PoA premier of Emma and Daniel were pictured dancing and holding hands with linked fingers and really looking at each other, and of course Tom took his then girlfriend Melissa to that premier. He also took Melissa to the GoF premier too; they were together 2004-2006. He mentions in his book there was chemistry with Emma and his girlfriend could tell, but I don’t think they acted on it. By the point he split with Melissa, Emma got together with Tom Ducker in 2006 and was on holiday with him 2007 and he came to the OoTP premier with Emma. Again they weren’t single at the same time! Then of course Tom got together with Jade and the whole weirdness started between them; Jade was super possessive I believe and didn’t approve of their friendship, especially after Emma made the revelation about her past crush on Tom. Which in my opinion must’ve been firmly in the past at that point or she wouldn’t have shared it I don’t believe, she’s too private about anything current - I think she was simply looking back and felt safe to share a childhood crush; obviously not realising the repercussions as it kind of solidified the anger from Jade I think!
Anyway; sorry for going on! I think when Jade and Tom finally split and he reconnected with Emma, she rushed to help him. He was in such a bad place, needed therapy and struggling with his addictions and breakup from Jade. I think she was there for him so much and proved what an amazing friend she is. I think if anything was going to happen between them it would’ve at that point, when they were both single (I think? Unless Emma was with William ‘Mack’ Knight around then?) and there were rumours that Tom stayed with Emma at her home whilst he recovered.
Of course there were the photos on the beach, skateboarding, Tom took the photo of Emma in the car (‘friends capture us best’) Tom’s pic with the guitar etc, but Emma always always used the word ‘friend’ in the captions - and the fact that she shared makes me certain there wasn’t a romantic element as we all know how private she is! I do think they use their friendship to help promote their projects, especially Tom’s, as they know it feeds the feltson shippers and brings headlines. I think there might always be an element of ‘what if’ between them, to be honest I have that with one of my male friends too! I don’t think they’ll ever be together now though. I think their friendship is so strong, and to be completely totally honest I don’t think Emma would go for Tom’s looks anymore as he’s changed a fair bit from that polished Hollywood style of the last Potter films/years afterwards. He’s himself and carefree; but he’s also kinda immature and smokes, drinks etc, I think Emma’s dating preferences are more of a smooth guy now.

Self-partnered didn't mean single, Emma clarified that later because the media kept portraying it that way. It just means being comfortable enough with yourself that you don't feel the need to chase a partner.
Idk if many people know this but Tom Felton had a website back years ago, he did two blogs on both POA premieres in 2004 he said Emma looked really gorgeous in one blog for the New York premiere and then the next blog for the London premiere he said she looked even more gorgeous, you can look at his blog on the wayback machine. Also he did an interview for purebreak in 2023 where he mentioned that him and Emma did acrobatic yoga together.

I reckon he liked Flick, but she left the movies after POA, so he then got together with Melissa from his school. If he’d been so interested in Emma back then, I would’ve thought he would prioritise her and chase her.

Sorry if I’m not romantic, but I believe that for Tom, Emma was just a little girl, and he greatly underestimated her. He was ironic and made fun of her. But it's ok he was just a boy. In Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire, when Emma grew up and started getting attention, becoming “famous” and desired by many boys and the media in general, he began to think, “Oh, look at her—she’s getting so much attention.” As Emma matured into an intelligent, clever, and wonderful young woman, he realized that he had made one of the biggest mistakes of his life.😅

I agree with every word you’ve said here. I’ve been reading his blog, and suddenly he’s much more bothered about Emma in PoA just as her fame began to rise! I think he might have liked her back then, but not enough, and chose Melissa because she was his age and he could have more of a grown up relationship with her. I think he really was head over heels for Jade, but when he came out of that relationship he really did realise that he’d made the hugest mistake in not choosing Emma! She isn’t someone who would wait, she’s too beautiful and has too much respect for herself. He lost his chance 😥 which is so sad!

Heard and found out it was true someone “crushed” on me for a time period then as we got older and before he left to attend another school I was realizing what I had missed.
Although now that I see him many many years later and how much he has changed… not for the good. I think he stopped self care. I’m fine with not being with him.

Ah man, it’s so hard when you realise, but also that’s the way our life goes isn’t it sometimes, and hopefully the path we make is the one that was always meant to be!
I feel like that’s kind of true about Tom too, he let himself be his own authentic self after breaking with Jade, and not that we know anything really but it doesn’t seem that his outward appearance would fit so much with Emma anymore romantically. But as friends they’re perfect! I think he’ll always be a free spirit now, whereas Emma appears to me more of a person who is less like that, but again I don’t know her of course!

I think he had a break in filming and got with Melissa after Prisoner of Azkaban. He said he went to a boys school, then to a mixed school and suddenly discovered girls!!! He must’ve fallen for Melissa, but I still think he had a cheeky flirt with Em like during the behind the scenes footage of Goblet Of Fire at the Yule Ball with them dancing together! He says in his book that his girlfriend knew there was something going on, I think he’s just a very flirtatious and touchy felt type of person! After Melissa there’s a gap, where he could’ve been with Emma but wasn’t, though maybe she was in her relationship with that lol rugby player I think? Tom then properly fell for Jade didn’t he! No question he adored her! I think she was really controlling though and stopped the friendship with Emma because she was jealous and knew the fans wanted them together. Wish they’d got together when he broke up with Jade but maybe they Emma had moved on!

It’s weird how their whole dynamic changed during the deathly hallows era and the years after that when he was dating Jade. Like if you listen to the HBP press conference back in 2009 they seem to be friendly and you can hear Tom and Emma sometimes giggling at each other’s answers in the background, and at one point, Tom said he had someone queue up for the book, and Emma cut in like, “your minions draco?” before giggling like it was the funniest thing lol Then when a journalist lowkey asked Emma if he could be her date to the premiere, you can tell she didn’t really know how to answer it so tom answered saying no is the answer. And this was all while he was dating Jade, by the way. It’s just crazy how their whole dynamic seemed to change after that lol but I’m glad they’re close again now

I find that so weird too! I think Emma revealing her crush in 2011 might have been the catalyst for them growing apart, I think it made Jade uncomfortable and jealous so she put a stop to their close friendship. You can tell that in the interviews after this he was much more reserved when talking about Emma. Jade came across as a bit possessive around this time in my opinion.
It’s true that when they split, there were lots of rumours and Blind articles saying that tom had cheated over the years and that she’d taken him back. The final straw seemed to have been when he had the alcohol addiction issues and they had to stage the intervention for him. She was accused by fans of not staying by him and of cheating herself, but she finally confirmed it when she replied to a fan on twitter saying ‘I never cheated HE DID’ before deleting it pretty fast. I’ve got the screenshot. It’s obvious how everyone supported her after, mutual friends unfollowed Tom and and were pictured with her. I think this is when Tom reached out to Emma again, probably feeling he was allowed to now that he and Jade had separated.
I think Emma probably wouldn’t want to date someone who had cheated before, in my opinion but who knows of course.

Yes I agree. I’m not sure the film company would want that either. I think he kept things as friends, even if he wanted more. Sadly once they were the right age it never worked out that they were single at the same time. Emma was with someone when he broke up with his girlfriend at the time, then when she broke up with her boyfriend he was getting with Jade I believe. Maybe that’s why they’ve become such good friends and the crushes and attraction have turned into friendship. I’m pleased they have that in each other.

It doesn’t make sense completely as Emma said nothing ever ever ever happened between them romantically in the HP reunion interview, and even in her foreword for TF’s book she says that people forever ask her if they’ve even just shared one kiss but what they have is ‘so much more than that’ as though they’ve never kissed?

Yes I think so too! I reckon he was totally surprised by it, you can hear in his voice that he didn’t know how to respond. Rather than confirming a kiss had happened, to me it was just him scrambling around not knowing what to say in case he upset Jade, or even upset Emma! I’m not convinced at all that it meant they had kissed, if he knows Emma half as well as I think we know her personality I doubt he’d believed she’d have gone public that ‘he’d been the only one to turn her on’ I think he knew he was being tricked, but just didn’t have a clue how to respond. Really not sure that it proves there was a kiss, but the Feltson stans at the time were going crazy saying it was proof!

I know Emma has said that nothing has ever happened between her and Tom romantically, but honestly, I feel like actions speak louder than words, and the way they’ve always been with each other just seems different. I’ve noticed now they’re older they don’t acknowledge each other as siblings which is what you’d think they’d do to describe a very close friend of over 20 years? Em has said Rupert and Dan are like her brothers. The way they talk about their bond, the little moments over the years, and even the fact that things got distant between them when Tom was with Jade - it just doesn’t seem to add up to being purely platonic and then adding on the things Tom admitted in his book. And let’s be real, even if something did happen, would Emma ever actually admit it publicly? She’s always been private about her personal life, and I doubt she’d open up about something like that, especially in a Harry Potter documentary.

I think you’re right that there’s something different between them. I think the way their friendship stalled when he was with Jade was due to Jade’s jelousy and insecurity about the fans shipping him with Emma, she must have hated it, can’t really blame her. But yes I totally agree they had some kind of energy together after the breakup when they both lived in Venice Beach.

In the pre word that Emma wrote for Tom’s book she speaks so lovingly about him, but she does state the word ‘friend’ or ‘friendship’ five separate times. I think she’s fairly adamant their relationship is platonic, though obviously it hasn’t always been.
I could be totally wrong but Tom seems to dote on her and I wonder if she maybe feels a bit guilty that she doesn’t fancy him now? Like she cares so so much for him, she has a huge heart, but maybe feels bad that it won’t be more so gushes about how close as platonic soulmates they are. Tom Felton 100% feeds the fans though. He definitely does. Do you remember when he said ‘we’re something’ about Emma, when she was in a relationship with Leo and he was with Roxanne. What does that mean? That’s more than friends surely yet they were with other people so it can’t be. I think as much as their friendship is brilliant and they’re so close, they do sometimes use it to promote themselves, not so much Emma but especially Tom. I think she allows it because she’s such a great friend. All those posts in 2018 that got everyone so excited they were spending time together, and they all lined up with when projects were being released for Tom? His new series was coming up and Emma posted that photo of them on the beach, with the caption including ‘my dear friend’. I do think Tom uses Emma’s name sometimes but she seems very happy for that to happen.

There is a video of Emma and Tom from 2003 when HP won the Disney Children’s award and they went to accept it together. In the video after Emma is so giggly and sweet! She stares at Tom soooo much and you can see she’s flirting and wanting him to make eye contact with her, but he doesn’t. You can definitely feel the ‘little sister’ vibes in the video and I think that’s around when she had her crush on him still. I don’t think he was interested at that stage at all and it was only later that he liked Emma once she’d grown up some, which is understandable as he was a lot older really in terms of her being 13 and him 16.

I agree with you Eden. I think it works out well for him. I think he’s a really flirtatious person, and they’re good friends but I don’t think he’s ever wanted them to be together romantically. Also to do your own movie you need help from people in the industry and Emma's friends (not former co-stars) aren't connected to the movie industry
She hasn't started yet, she's still doing her masters degree. Plus, Sofia Rising wouldn't be related to Renais since commercials don't need to be leveraged for funding the way movies do (to insulate the production company from losses).

She's not doing a PhD, that's just usual tabloid BS. A PhD isn't just a harder version of a masters, it's for people who want a career as a researcher. Even if she did apply, it's extremely unlikely that she'd be accepted.

If she has many friends in Oxford who are planning to do or are working on a PhD, maybe she has already applied and been accepted for next year—who knows? Maybe she wants to completely change her work environment, maybe she wants to teach, write books, or pursue something else. I mean, since she was nine years old, her priority has always been education and reading.
It was something that Felton shippers made up when they found out that Emma took Leo to that Christmas/ New Year celebration thing some of the cast did as a reunion. It was around the time the LW promotions were going on. And as far as we know Leo never had a problem with Emma and Tom’s friendship. This is true! He even published Emma’s foreword before publishing his book, to increase sales I think. I’m sure he knew that he’d then capture Emma’s market as well as his own. Even people who weren’t interested in his biography but love Emma would then want to buy it.
Also his partner is extremely private and he keeps himself to himself more now that he’s with her. I think he was burned by how the public bullied Jade, and didn’t want to make the same mistake with his next relationship. Some even say they’re married? It’s hard because in all honestly I think Tom Felton hasn’t aged very well. I don’t think he’s taken care over himself enough and it shows now he’s getting older, in his wrinkles and hair line. I think all the smoking and drinking probably plays a part. Looks don’t mean everything but Emma is still so youthful in her looks and seems to go for the more clean cut, business man these days. I don’t think they’d work together as a couple any more, like they might have done in their 20s.
The sad thing is that Tom Felton is more in the public eye than Emma these days! He’s just presented at the BAFTA’s and done that racing car driving. I wish we could get some of Emma!
