According to Wikipedia, the St Trinian's story is based on a British gag cartoon comic strip series by Ronald Searle. It centers "on a boarding school for girls, where the teachers are sadists and the girls are juvenile delinquents."
This movie will be the sixth one about St Trinian's since the first movie in 1954. It'll star Rupert Everett and will be filmed in England.
