The article:

Brown University sophomore Emma Watson has been moving from Hogwarts to high fashion (the final installment of the Harry Potter series comes out in July). And this month, she adds designer to her list of extracurriculars "I'm happy to encourage anyone interested in making conscientious clothing from raw, sustainable materials, so much so that I'll work for free," Watson says. It's that sentiment that led to her teaming up with designer Alberta Ferretti to launch Pure Threads - an environmentally friendly line of bohemian dresses lace-enbroidered denim, and an ultra-feminine blouse, inspired by Jane Birkin's late-seventies aesthetic. "The collection is compltely organic, from the picking and spinning of our cottons to the washing, weaving, and dyeing of our textiles," Ferretti explains. "Fresh, serene, and intelligent, these looks are perfect for Emma. They're chic but scrupulous down to the very last stitch."
