I doubt she would actually share if she was engaged (I don't believe she is), but it's nice to know she hasn't given up on acting just yet. I actually thought her tweets were going to be about it. It was so unexpected for her to tweet that that was my first thought.

The trip to Mexico there is no evidence, no photos or sightings, it was only said by the Daily Fail clickbait, so for me Emma was in London and the photos at the airport was Leo receiving her in Los Angeles. The fans and Haters are just as stalkers all united by Emma we should have a day of celebration.

She goes to Mexico all the time including January of the year before, so I don't really see any reason to doubt that she went there this January/February. Does it really matter? She traveled from somewhere to California.
She was in Ibiza in February, June and September in London in July and November, in Italy in August, in January in Mexico (people tweeted about it) and then she went to La. Overall a lot of traveling in pandemic time in my opinion.
She was clearly just traveling so often to pick up new bread-making techniques its fine :P

I think the whole thing with the traveling is that governments "strongly advised" people to only travel if they really needed to and it was only banned to and from certain countries and at certain times. You could still take vacations and I don't think Emma had to lie. It was left up to people to think of the welfare of themselves and others and practice a little common sense, which Emma and Leo seem to have little of.
Some of you super fans need to consider crawling out of her rear end. With that tweet, Emma told you a great deal about herself and what she really thinks of her fans by spouting that total BS. She knows maybe only a few thousand of her millions of followers follow her close enough to know what her and Leo were really up to during Covid and that she can post that and everyone will keep fawning over her and be like "oh, that's so sweet. * WHETHER y'all like it or not travel has been legal throughout different stages of Covid-19. Also every country handled/ is still handling covid differently. Also y'all do know that to travel anywhere you have to re-take the test. And wait for it come out negative before you leave and then you still have to re-take it when you arrive. And no private jets passengers (if you want to believe that theory) aren't excluded from that, they're actually tested more. The only way to bypass quarantine to already be fully vaccinated and have proof of it as well. I'm gonna go out on a limb as say that nobody here knows whether Emma or Leo are vaccinated or not.

the amount of travel Emma did and how close together theu were it showed she didnt have to do a test or wait two weeks when she arrived or left anywhere to go about her holiday plans. the timeline does not match she clearly had back routes out of the country that rich people were using and exploiting.
The proof she lied to leave the country is you were only allowed to head off for essential travel aka work and we have the pics of Emma laying on a beach doing nothing work-related and staying at resorts. Make all the excuses you want the evidence is all over online.

The only photos were have of her lying on a beach to my knowledge is Italy, and that’s was when holidays to italy were allowed? Like Ibiza. Has nobody considered that you could've traveled to different countries when they open to the general public without lying... My sister had a 30 person wedding in Ibiza when it was safe to travel. And yes we followed the Covid regulations throughout the entire weekend (6 feet apart, wearing masks and the 2 week quarantine) She's been living there while I live in London (we're American). Also is it really that far off to think that she tried to make sourdough in different places. Cause believe or not you can bake in more than just one place. Also even IF she traveled to a different country every other month... she would've been tested more than anybody in general public would've ever be. My husband works for an airline, they don't give a single fuck who you are or how much money you have. You better pass every test and follow up with all the rules or your royally fucked. Someone saying she wasn’t wearing a mask in a crowded restaurant, yeah you aren’t supposed to at the tables when inside or don’t have to when you’re outside at or around tables in most countries (such as Uk you only need to put one one if going inside to the toilet etc. and Spain). She’s been wearing masks outside in the UK on the street when we don’t have to.

Is there a conflict between traveling and staying home and baking? She spends a lot more time at home than at the beach, lol. As far as I know, she has houses in many countries, she can bake in any house, she didn't travel around at all every few weeks! She spent most of last year at her home in Ibiza, briefly back to the UK and to Italy. It wasn't until January that she left Europe for Mexico and the US and has been staying in California. I'm glad she hasn't left the US to travel to another country yet, maybe she's settled down with Leo in LA.
February she was in Spain on valentines, march to june she is in uk(seen getting coffee) in june she went back to spain seen eating with BATB cast member with leo went back to Uk july when seen buying clothes in london then to Italy in august seen on beach. Next seen in spain again in September with leo by a pool on her phone. not seen until back in uk by November left for mexico in January next went to america and L.A and still hitting Mexico for events like her brithday in april.

and can claim residency so was allowed to travel there and did nothing illegal.

I've never once criticized Emma Watson and have actually praised her on a consistent basis for over 15 years, as anyone who knows me well, would know. My pre-occupation with her and with the Harry Potter franchise definitely made some eyes roll, but I really haven't cared what people thought of my devotion to her and to the franchise fandom. For those that don't know, she has been entirely absent from public engagement for nine months, until tweeting this week.
I am well aware that public figures don't owe the public anything. This being said, given the turbulent times we are living in, I've been disappointed to see no public engagement from Emma in the last 9 months. In recent months, the tabloids took her silence to mean she was either a) engaged to her long time partner or b) ending her career in public life. As the rumours got more crazy, she finally replied to it all via a series of tweets this past week (see article). I did feel badly for her at certain points, as she withdrew from social media last Spring after being criticized for her response to BLM and George Floyd. It seemed that no matter how many resources she shared on anti-racism or what she said, it wasn't good enough for anyone. Hundreds of comments were left on her post harkening the days of when she was labelled a white feminist.
However, seeing these tweets just made me sad. It is fine if she is choosing not to be public with any activism she may be doing, to have a full, private and personal life for once in her 31 years of life. This is not what irks me. What bothers me is the content of her tweets as they make it seem like she has quietly stayed put in once placed since the pandemic began which is simply untrue.
At this point it is not nice to hear from her...her statement that she is "quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are" is just untrue. She has often tried to make herself come off as living a more humble life than what it appears she does. In the past year, she has lived/vacationed or otherwise been seen in: Spain, Mexico, England and California. I fail to see how this equals doing what she can to stop the spread of COVID. I had expected honesty from her.
I also feel a bit bothered to have seen paparazzi photos of her in four countries within 8 months when there are so many people around the world right now that have been unable to safely see their loved ones, or who can't afford it. Yet, she's been jetting all over the place mostly on private planes from the looks of it, a luxury of safety in an era of a deadly virus available to the wealthy and famous that us plebeians don't get to have.
Honestly I have little issue with traveling she probably kept herself safe and whatever country she went to was likely allowing people in.
I don't like her trying to make it sound like she did no traveling and just stayed home baking break and had the same no leaving the house for 10+ months covid issues as normal people that is just false she traveled more than any other celeb I can think of tbh. Tell the truth about that don't say you were home all the time.
The fact she tried to paint that picture rather show what she was doing tells me she knows people wont respond well to all that pointless travel and that she knows it was morally bankrupt to preach to others about staying home will not following her own advice.

Here's an opinion I already know most will disagree with.
This is by no means defending Emma, but if your complied theories are true the this one is also a probability. Since some people on here used to use the " Emma has houses all over the place" as a weird type of drag before covid was ever a thing as a drag. To hypothetically say she DOES own houses in all the places she visited. Then on that technicality she didn't lie. Granted she didn't make sourdough in just one house. But the statement she said is that she was home while trying, she never specified one specific singular place. Also she's been quoted saying she doesn't have one singular place to home before covid was a thing as well. Also she only traveled when the countries themselves greenlit travel. I live in Ibiza for the time being, however I'm originally from the west coast (American). I'd be lying if I said I didn't go back to the U.S. to check on my house since the pandemic began. In fact people with houses if many different countries were encouraged to check on them when travel was deemed safe.
