I guess with all the Twitter bashing of Emma, it must have brought some bad people here in the comments :/

Sorry to be a negative nelly now that you've opened the comments, but really disappointed that Emma hasn't spoken out on the abortion ruling in the USA.
Given the demographics of the states that will now effectively ban or severely restrict access to abortion it will be the poor and women of colour that will be most affected.
Emma talks about women's right, talks about the difficult journey of women of colour but not a word on the Supreme ruling.
Of course it won't affect her, but it will impact on the lives of many she claims to champion.

Given that she gets slammed for stuff she didn't even say, I'm not really that surprised she's been keeping out of things. Personally, I'd rather people focus on more substantive actions rather than expending their energy on social media and thinking their $10 donation - to an organization that would have minimal impact at best - counts as their contribution to the world. People need to vote and petition and get out the vote.
Emma Roberts was cast as Madame Web for the MCU. I wonder if some mangled version of that is where the Spider-Woman rumours for Emma came from.
She may well be putting together a resource pack like she did for BLM.

Sony has been announcing Madame Web's casts one by one, but there hasn't been any news about Spider-Woman, so it's best not to believe that rumor. I am not interested in the Sony Spider universe, if Emma joined the MCU I will watch

People have decided that Emma showing support to trans women = Slamming JK Rowling. A website decided to create a rumour that Emma said the only reason she'll go back to Harry Potter is if Rowling is not involved and people just believed it and are now sending her a new wave of hate.

What I have seen is that GC people/Terfs are the most obvious in their hatred of her, this part is indeed the most misogynistic towards young women, they are mostly middle aged and older who support JKR, that's why they like to say Emma is ungrateful because they treat their children authoritarian as well.

HP Movies are both blessings and curse for all the actors involved in the franchise, since It was the longest movie franchise that had ever been made in the history of hollywood, that until now even the fans are not yet moving on, we really grew up with them, but remaking this movie, will not even compare to the experienced with what we've had in childhood, people need to let it go! Everyone should just enjoyed what they've have earned during those times, the HP Era is a closed chapter already
