It seems they were very close for her to go to visit Tom on their own during a filming break and go for a long walk! She really opens up to him doesn’t she. I wonder when this was? Perhaps something did happen between them inbetween his relationships with Melissa and Jade.

It does seem he was a bit of a flirty guy as there’s behind the scenes video of him kissing his beauxbatons ‘partner’ on the cheek behind the scenes of the GoF movie and we know he was dating Melissa at the time, and he was also dancing with Emma in the behind the scenes footage in the pink dress at that time too! Was that when everything went a bit weird between Emma and Tom after that? I know Jade didn’t seem keen on Emma, maybe that pushed her to then stop Tom from being around Emma and made things even more awkward, she obviously saw Emma as a threat. It just seems weird and out of character for Emma to bring up her crush on him when they were already a bit awkward with each other! On the other hand I guess that it means she didn’t have feelings for him romantically anymore otherwise I don’t think she’d have brought it up, she isn’t the type to publicise her romantic relationships is she!; May 16, 2025 at 12:12 PM

That’s the point I wish Feltson shippers would get through their heads. Emma doesn’t publicly talk about her romantic relationships at all. Which is why people can only speculate about them. Hell she doesn’t even acknowledge her boyfriends/exes by name when she’s directly asked about them(even if they’re also in the public eye). So for her to talk about her preteen crush on Tom says a lot. Mostly that she’s over and doesn’t care if know because it doesn’t reflect her feelings anymore. Idk how many times girly has to say “Tom knows and it’s something we LAUGH at now” for people to get the hint. He even says he’s never been in love with her. Yet people insist on thrusting the “childhood friends to lovers” trope onto two people who clearly don’t feel that way about each other. I genuinely think the way they care about each other IS non-traditional siblings coded(adopted, step or even kinship siblings), given the way Tom wrote about her in his book. It’s just that
1. he doesn’t have a sister, so he has nothing to compare his bond with Emma to
2. he’s the youngest of 4, so he doesn’t have a younger sibling to compare his bond to her either.
Is there a chance he realized that, hey she’s IS kinda cute when they were older… maybe… But it doesn’t seem like he ever made a move. Or even if he did, she had already moved on causing him to move on as well.; May 16, 2025 at 4:06 PM
