Do you remember when you first heard about the possibility of a 20th-anniversary reunion?
Tom [Felton] gave the game away by hosting a “19-year reunion”, so the twentieth anniversary was definitely in my mind with a fair bit of run up!
How did it feel to be with your cast mates again on those incredible sets?
Like heaven, honestly. I am just so happy they still exist! Most film sets are torn down the minute a scene is finished. I am so happy they are still there for people to enjoy, me included. Stuart Craig is truly a genius. What he did is perfect.
What was it like to sit down with Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint in the Gryffindor common room?
It was emotional and also intense to have such an intimate moment so closely watched. Mostly I was just so happy to have a mediator who could ask us these questions and get to be part of seeing how differently – and similarly – we had processed things. I love that we remembered different things.
You spoke about your childhood crush on Tom Felton and fans loved it. What has it been like for you and Tom to see that?
[Laughs] We speak most weeks, and we just think it’s sweet.
You have a lovely moment with Rupert towards the end. Was that the most emotional moment of the reunion for you, or was it something else?
No, that was the most emotional moment for me. When Rupert says things, he really means them. I was taken aback by how vulnerable and kind he was deciding to be so publicly. Similarly for Dan, it really touched me how reflective he had been over the years about how different it had been for me as a girl.
The response to the reunion has been amazing. Are you, Dan and Rupert on a group chat, and have you been talking about it?
They both hate WhatsApp and their phones in general. Actually, as a three, we really try and stay off electronics so that doesn’t help for a massive amount of back and forth. We aren’t on a group chat but we speak individually. Rupert sends me pictures of [his daughter] Wednesday and I die. Dan and I generally try and calm each other’s nerves. We both mainly try and stay out of the limelight so it’s been nice to have each other’s support, knowing there was going to be another wave of attention coming.
If you could go back in time and speak to that 10-year-old version of yourself who was so eager to play Hermione that it terrified her parents, what would you say?
That’s a whole article I might write one day.
What are the biggest lessons you’ve learned from working on the Harry Potter films?
I don’t think there was anything I didn’t learn. That was the beauty of it. It was my kindergarten, school and university. Animals, special effects, media training, stunts… it was endless. I feel so thankful.
And would you come back to Hogwarts for another reunion 20 years from now?
Definitely.
What’s next for you in 2022?
You’ll have to wait and see, but there are projects...

Seems odd timing, I mean it's over, no need to hype it.
Only thing that makes sense to me is that she is effectively promoting Mack's work.

German bot's a troll that used to post a lot of nonsense. Rarely does it now that I'm moderating the comments. There's a second person who threatened to kill me for not letting them insult Emma, and there's a third person who's basically an anti-Feltson who threatened to have my blog shut down for posting about Emma saying she fell in love with Tom as a child.
Unfortunately, Emma having 65million followers means not all of them will be normal people and some will be disturbed and leave awful comments smh

I don't check the comments for a little while and pretty much every single comment (and there were dozens) is about Tom or Feltson, complaining. I wish I could go back to this morning when I was excited because now I'm just annoyed.

I know! She talked in her instagram post about "producing photoshoots for their websites or headshots for their businesses". I'm guessing the photoshoots for website has to do with Mack, but sounds to me like "headshots for their businesses" might be different unless it's old and she could refer to Andrea Carter Bowman. She also said "Then I got involved in editing" and I wonder if that's something we're going to see later or if it'll be some uncredited work.

I think Emma plans to use ger platform to promote other women in very hands-on fashion from now on making documentaries and doing photoshoots and articles for them

The amount of passion I feel she has for directing doesn't even compare to the amount of passion I felt she had for acting in the last 18 years combined. But it depends on the story or the director. I think she's more interested in acting to be part of a story she thinks should be told than for love of acting.

Why are you assuming it's binary? She's always picked movies when she actually wants to do them, not just to get a gig.
I feel she wants to be creative no matter what she is doing and producing her own works of art like videos or photoshoots that rely only on her and not on studios or other people she has to sell ideas to first is a good way to get more stuff made without needing other peoples approval first :)

XD I'm back to being excited now. I'm a parrot for emotions. If people are annoyed, I'm going to be annoyed. If people are excited, I'm going to be excited. Now that we're back at talking about Emma's projects I'm all good :D

She used to... When she had the site, I doubt she will get more just to post them on twitter.
Besides, it was made by a friend, directed by Emma herself, I don't think she will sell any outtake.

That's what I thought! I really like these pictures. She tends to look young(er?), but here, there's something different, and I love it.
its weird they would sell certain pics to a different version of vogue but not use them all for the uk one, i think some random outtakes could leak or other shots for other editions of vogue in other countries might come out later too
At the end of the year, we will see a documentary series on some streaming platform like Netflix that will be Emma's full debut :D
though maybe she will only post stuff online to her social media platforms?
Or get a Youtube channel and give all the money she can get there to whatever cause her videos would probably be about.
I'm not subscribed to any streaming service so I would really prefer Youtube :p
Youtube would help her find the biggest audience as long as she posts the link to her 65m followers on insta first and then she can also earn all the ad revenue for herself or her causes without needing to pay a streaming service to host her work

perhaps i can't explain the look that well its kind of look Lea Seydoux often does maybe its why i associate with being french ahaha
There is something haunting about that picture, the look in Emma's eye it's quite beautiful...I dunno if she looks 'French' in it but maybe Eden can give her opinion? XD

Mack is so excited, she keeps posting stories XD It's a big deal for her, the first time her photographs have been published in Vogue.
Yeah, most of the sites have nothing yet (Germany, Italy, France, Scandinavia, Korea, etc...) but they may post the article during the week. Brazil & India did it but they repost a coouple pics.

I think it was just a short phone interview for the reunion not for the cover.
The article has been published on sites from other countries, nothing new except a color pic. And the Australian site used the 2018 photoshoot... aussies.
