Two are from the 14th but I'm not sure about the middle one. Looks like she's wearing something different to me but she could have just changed before or after the whole robe thing.

People really need to look things up. Everything online said it was oxford matriculation, please google it. It’s an initiation to the university following at least three first full week of study (and happens at set dates). It’s means you are an official member. Visiting students when she was at Worcester (or visiting fellows like her one at LMH) don’t get it, so her masters would be the first. For matriculation she has to be in sub fusc dress and she’s wearing a gown (and advanced student one as you can she her sleeves).

Numerous other publications also wrote about it. People confused as to why she’s there or in a gown just seem to have missed all of it.

Really?? I easily find loads.
Most days i search google news by 'past 24hrs' and usually get 5 fandomwire clickbaits, 3 sports articles about a footballer also called emma watson and some bs articles by 'koimoi' or 'cheetsheet' about 10 year out of date gossip its a mess lol

yeah someone said her course started and ended in the span of 3 days and it seemed so wrong glad its confirmed now she is still there haha
Oxford’s term started on Monday 9 October, so that was her very first week. Students often matriculate then. She might not be back in person again for awhile, but her course literally just started. She’s now in week 2.

Her course only started last week. Everybody thought she’d be there at the start, we just don’t know how much she’ll be back. She only has to attend a few times physically but she may well spend more time there studying or researching if she wishes. And of course visiting friends and her mums side of the family. She’s often around there anyway.
Something is up with google all year tbh i find myself needing to put 'Reddit' after most questions these days to get a thread of actual correct information on various topics as most articles google push on me are wildly incorrect or from shady AF sites

A masters course is different to an undergraduate course. She's only there in person for 4 days 3 times a year, which she was at the end of September. The rest of the course is her writing for her portfolio and having consultations with her supervisor.
The matriculation ceremony is just a formal event that she went back for.

If you look in Emma Watson, Daily Mail you will find a nice article about Emma at Oxford, and what she is doing there. I think we will hear less about it since she is studying unless she decides to share a few of her projects with us. I would love to know a bit of what she is writing,

The course didn't end, but those were the only days she had on campus. It's not a course based on in-person lectures like an undergraduate course, it's all in the link I provided.
Sorry, meant to say the only days she had on campus in September. She'll be back their in January.
