How do you know???????

More info on Renais:
https://www.thespiritsbusiness.com/2023/10/celebrities-set-their-sights-on-gin/
“Watson is quick to note that his sister has “always been involved in the project”, and says the family’s winemaking business is a “big part of Emma’s identity”. She, like Alex, was born in Paris.

Alex says all the creative for Renais has been directed by Emma, and shot by her team. Emma has also pushed for the brand to be sustainable, he says, such as the gin’s use of biodegradable mushroom packaging from the Magical Mushroom Company.”

Really? Didnt know he had girlfriend. When did he get married?

Anonymous said...

Let’s just be happy for Leo but I’m more interested in Matt and Mack. It’d be good if one of them made a reappearance, they both seemed good for her and down to earth guys.

Anonymous said...

I saw he had a ring on his left hand on IG and was wondering as he never used to wear a ring there. That makes sense.

Anonymous said...

I have only seen that Leo has a new girlfriend who has a grown son of 5 or 6 years old.

Anonymous said...

Damn I wonder if they broke up because he wanted to marry her and she doesn’t want that

Another Anon comment:

"She isn’t his first gf since Emma. He’s been with her over a year. Her name is ***. (Eden you can block out her name if you want). if you know where to look you’ll see them both wearing wedding rings on IG."

I always thought she looked the happiest with Will Adamowicz. He attended Boston College and then studied at Oxford with her. He was more her caliber.

There are so many good down-to-earth guys in this world. she was dating them and broke up. Why are you guys looking for her go back to them? They moved on because of reasons. Don't think she gave the exact reason to puclic. We don't know what happened between them. She can find a good one. no need to go back.

Just because you marry your current partner doesn’t mean you wanted to marry an ex!!

Hey everyone! I've been a long-time fan of Emma Watson since the first Harry Potter movie, and I can't help but wonder if all the talk about her previous romances will come to an end when she gets married. LOL. Anyway, we should respect her privacy and wait for any significant news about her love life, like an Instagram post announcing an engagement or something.

I'm actually an editor on Wikipedia, and if you take a look at her Wikipedia article, you'll notice that the entire paragraph in the "Personal Life" section discussing her love life has been deleted. There used to be a whole paragraph about her past relationships dating back to 2007. I managed to convince other editors to remove it because Wikipedia isn't meant to be a gossip site. The only significant relationship that will ever be added to that page will be about her marriage, if it ever happens. Thank me later, LOL.

Among her exes, Barrymore & Craig are married. And Robinton now, if true.

An Anon's comment: "Where did you get the info about Leo being married, Anon? Judging by her Instagram & how important family gatherings seem to her, I find it hard to believe that Leo's mum didn't post anything about her son's wedding."

El Roberto said...

Your reference to wikipedia now reminded me of her starring in a music video. 2010. OMG. Time's running... 🤷

You talked about her getting married - we do not know what she thinks about marriage, and yes, as fans, it's not really important, because it's her own business, of course.
Some part of me, however, would be interested what fans think. Do you think this would be an interesting fan poll, Eden? Whether Emma will ever get married?
I don't know, fan polls might be critical/better not to be done. Hm. So just thoughts. 🤷

Nah, I feel like most people don't care and just want a new movie. Or maybe I'm projecting XD

As well as movies, I’m interested in whether she gets back into the public fashion domaine more next year given her non-exec role with Kering ends at the end of this year. She’ll be free to have a business relationship with them again, which she’s not been allowed to do with her role.
I also wonder if she’ll join any other boards. Obviously it’s not so fun for us as we don’t get to see anything she does as a part of it, but from Kerings reports (always released a year behind, so current ones are for 2022), it seems like she was much more involved and there’s been more happening on the sustainability committee which she’s still chair of. I wonder if she’s grown into it even further this year, I’m sure she’s learned a lot.

There are so many people in the perfume and fashion world, I think Emma has much more to offer. I think she should focus on her studies and do that exceptionally well according to her true abilities. She is getting older and needs to hone other skills that she has. I would love to see her in films, again she is getting older and is not a top talent. She got her breakthrough in the Harry Potter series playing the iconic character Heromine, and that was great. Otherwise, she most likely would have gone to university like any other intelligent young woman in the UK and had a literary, journalistic, editor of a magazine or a novelist or a non-fiction writer. I do not believe that there will be another film despite the strikes being given as a reason. I wish her the best, and hope she remains realistic about her true talent, gets rid of those Tarot cards and stops letting Saturn tell her future.

Anonymous said...

I remember seeing that. Don’t remember exact figures but her meeting attendance for her 2nd year was a lot up on her 1st year. I don’t think she got a full financial year the 1st one so that probably affected things - and of course she does more than just attend the meetings but still. Would be interesting what she’s been doing this year - It’s a pity we get to know nothing about it.

Anonymous said...

All we know is one report that said she actually skipped most kering meetings even one she was supposed chair on sustainability

Anonymous said...

“ All we know is one report that said she actually skipped most kering meetings even one she was supposed chair on sustainability” that was the 2021 report, and as someone mentioned she wasn’t there the full year then either. 2022 report is different, she was more involved.

Anonymous said...

“ I do not believe that there will be another film despite the strikes being given as a reason.”
I respectfully disagree as she mentioned returning to acting herself before the strike, and she seems to be actively pursuing directing. In the second year of her MSC she has to pick a specialism and one available is screen writing. That makes sense and I think she’ll pick it. It ties into her moving towards taking more control as she has said in interviews. I honestly think she’ll write, direct and likely act in her own films. I think she’ll also direct and write generally and act with those she trusts.

Anonymous said...

She’s still Chair of their Sustainability Committee, which is a steering committee.

"she is getting older and is not a top talent."

What did you mean as 'top talent'?

Anonymous said...

I meant that she is talented but not flexible in her acting technique. Her type of characters are bitten on being girlish and smart. I must say though I liked her acting in Perks. Little Women I thought to be OK, but next to Saoirse Ronan her insecurity in acting was obvious. I cringed when she giggled at her wedding in Little Women. I also thought her acting Colonia was good, but the movie did not hit too well, not even in Germany. Most likely she was so good in Perks that she worked off of a good script. Acting obligates a lot of character flexibility in character playing, and if she feels uncomfortable for not having enough control, she will always feel uncomfortable working with others unless she really does make her own film with complete creative freedom. Mel Gibson had that with the Passion of Christ; he financed this film completely: wrote the script with good co and was the director. Can she go that path of complete financial independence that also give her opinionated and creative freedom.

Emma’s on two channels right now in the UK. Little Women on Channel 4 and Goblet of Fire on ITV. This doesn’t usually happen until Christmas, which is becoming her season between HP, LW and Beauty and the Beast

Anonymous said...

I think she was a wonderful Meg in Little Women. It was a perfect, unshowy but warm performance for the character.

Anonymous said...

Yes, but for the giggling at the wedding, I thought most inappropriate.

Nah, she was excellent in Little Women. Probably my favorite Meg in any movie. She captured the character's insecurity in being the beauty of the family but also the responsible older sister who never really got to shine. And she was perfect at the wedding.

People don't talk enough about how great she was in Perks. They pretty much stopped doing Manic Pixie Dream Girls because Emma closed down the whole archetype by making Sam so believable and charming. And Nikki was the only believable performance in The Bling Ring. Equal parts brittle, vain, dumb, and tragic.

She also just steals several scenes from Russell Crowe in Noah. When they actually let her emote, she's fantastic. Colonia was also a good performance in a bad movie. And she single-handedly carried Beauty & the Beast to a massive box office through stunt-casting and personal charisma. It wasn't a good movie, but 0% of that is on her. She's also easily the best thing about This is the End, and those dumb bros chased her off the set.

Emma's not a perfect actress. When she's not interested, you can TELL. And she doesn't pick great projects. Her accents can also be muddled. But she has an incredibly expressive face, crazy personal charisma, and a natural vulnerability and strength that shines through in the right role.

I think it also doesn't help that she's a born ingenue and perfect for romantic roles, but has only been paired with a good male lead once (Perks) in a time where romantic movies are dead as disco.

Having read the longer analysis of Emma's acting, I basically agree. The way you described the essence of the character Meg and the way you described her acting gave me a new perspective, but the giggle during the wedding still bothered me. She was excellent in Perks, different in Bling Ring, scary in Regression, stale in The Circle, and perfect as Heromine. Her role in Noah was well-acted and she had good, balanced emotions for what she portrayed. I thought the movie was imaginative taken from the Old Testament- maybe a bit too much. When people watch biblical stories they usually want the retelling of it in film to stand to the facts of the Bible. My father always said that the Bible is the best Science fiction storytelling ever told. He said that the truth about our becoming who we are is interesting and worth telling the way the Bible presents it. It was for this reason that Aronofsky did not stick to the biblical story at its core, cut the movie's possible success, but Emma did a good job, and one could gather that she had concentrated on child-bearing and maybe even studied it a bit to be able to portray the act believably; in my opinion, she exceeded expection.

I miss Emma.
Why are we not getting any news of her?

Eden said...

She's working on her master.

Anonymous said...

Busy with at the start of her course and with Renais I suspect

Anonymous said...

Anyone can say anything. But honestly, In every movie, her acting is good for me. I don't like some storylines. Like circle, Regression.
I love to see her coming out of romantic roles and doing another kind of role.

Anonymous said...

I would love to see Emma as a villain. She does the nerdy, smart beautiful girl a lot

Anonymous said...

I disagree on Beauty and Beast, I think she did a fine job as belle when she was up against it considering everyone else could be wildly over the top because of their characters and she had to do the “straight man” character, which she does a lot, her costars must love her for it.
I think the script in for example Colonia and the Circle severely let her down, and even still she herself was decently reviewed in them. Personally, I feel that if you thought she was only ok in Little Women it’s more about the character. Honestly Meg is so so beige and blah generally, the fact that she made her well rounded and quite likable is a nigh on miracle.

Eden you didn’t publish the recent video interview I posted with Emerald Fennell where she calls Emma’s performance in the bling ring masterful. Why not?

It was flagged as spam so I didn't see it. It's up now.

I LOVED her in Perks and thought she was only good thing about Noah and Regression!! We all have different opinions!!

Anonymous said...

I agree, she was excellent in Deathly Hallows; it was like Heromine understood what she was there to do and she did it. I forgot that Meg was a kind of boring character in the books where the reader might skip a page or race past the scene, but Emma did give Meg a charm that was thought-provoking. I watched the movie again just to see- and yes. I only had three favorite roles in all her movies and characters, not because the movie was so good, but because she was. In the Perks of Being a Wall Flower, she and Logan Lerman played very well with one another; they complemented each other's roles very well. Young Logan Lerman though is a great young actor. He has been good for years. Noah was not a good biblical film, but Emma nailed her role. Heromine developed in each film to the great final film, The Deathly Hallows. She nailed it. I would wish more mature roles for her with incentives and brains. I would not want to see a sex symbol role; I do not believe that she strives toward such roles.

Seeing Erma’s first kiss video is funny because I remember the first time I used my tongue and it was similar how she described it. Eden, was your first kiss similar too?

Anonymous said...

I am a well-meaning woman, who has worked in education for many years. I have watched the development of the trio from the beginning and was awed by how normal they remained. These children were well protected throughout the filming, eventhough now they speak of having felt caged. So many young actors are destroyed early by the industry because so much attention and fame at once is hard to handle for the developing mind and ego. Although I must admit, I always hoped Emma would go other ways because she has a good mind and is obviously exceedingly talented on an intellectual level. I hope her studies bring her the balance she needs in her intellectual endeavors.
