Has anyone ever met her, what's she like?
Quiet/reserved but friendly if you speak to her normally. I met her in coffee shop and we had a chat about the pastries. Several other people I know have met her in various places or events and thought the exact same. She’s quiet and low key but nice. She’s also quite aware of people looking at her but I sense she tries to ignore it. Although she smiled at a few people.

I met her at a big event and she was just off the red carpet - she was very energetic - super outgoing - buzzy and chatty - social butterfly ! thought wow you’re not shy at all ! but then I spied her taking a very deep breath when she was leaving. I reckon that it took real effort and she probably isn’t that outgoing. She was doing her job really well. But it wasn’t false. She was very charming and I don’t think she put that on - I think she just ‘heightened’ herself.

I doubt it’s new footage for the ride, probably repurposed film footage. Whilst Rupert has, neither Emma nor Dan has shot for any of the new attractions or theme parks since potter finished. Any new ones are either new footage, use other characters for new bits, so Rupert and Domhnall for Gringotts, or on the hogwarts express for new dialogue it’s different voice actors with Rupert, as you only hear them. As it’s clearly not Emma or Dan just people who sound kind of like them it’s quite jarring and people comment on it.

Well she is still very close with Tom for example, with or without a follow, obviously she has others ways with communication with them that’s not instagram. She also doesn’t follow friends like Sophie or even her half-siblings.
It's evident that she follows only people related to her recent work and potential upcoming projects. Why follow her Harry Potter cast members if she has other ways to contact them? In the end, you inevitably forget to follow some people, and everyone questions your relationship with them.

How do we know that for sure? In an interview after the Harry Potter anniversary, Emma said she had WhatsApp conversations with Dan and Rupert. However, because they don't spend much time on such apps, she mostly contacts them directly. Rupert sends her photos of his daughter, while her conversations with Dan are more work-related.
It was mentioned that when they were in LA, Emma, Tom, Matthew, Bonnie, and Evanna had a separate group chat. We don't know exactly how they all stay in touch. Emma might talk more often with Tom and Matthew, but we can't be sure. Anyway for sure she is not going to be in contact with them from her work account.

I think you might be the only one that sees that evidence. From Emma and others interviews whilst they aren’t in constant contact they seem pretty close. As an adult it’s very hard to be in constant contact with people. Time is tight. however over the years though they’ve all spoken about still being in touch with Emma.
Also what do you mean Emma and Daniel didn’t shoot it together? They did, they were in Leavesden and they all had dinner in the Grove Hotel that night, Emma organized it (the twins spoke about it on their podcast). The only one not there in person out of the participants was Rupert, and I thought it was evident that whilst they’ve talked about Rupert being crap with his phone and WhatsApp that they had seen each other and were in touch. Emma has spoken about Rupert sending her pics of Wednesday.
In short, the result: we do not know.

People who were crew of the HP reunion said that Daniel and Emma didn't shoot together, that dinner was with Tom, the twins, Matthew, Bonnie and Alfie. Daniel, Emma and Rupert shoot their parts and Warner used CGI to put them on the Gryffindor common room together, Dan only shoot stuff with Gary Oldman, Helena and Chris Columbus. All the interviews about keeping contact with her aren't recent or come from Tom Felton, the only one who keeps contact with all of them
The interviews aren't recent because she's hardly given any interviews recently. Not really sure what your point is with all of this. You don't have a copy of her call history, so you're just speculating on something that really doesn't concern you.

It’s obvious that her instagram following means nothing. There are people in her following that she has zero contact and there are people she doesn’t follow that she is very close. Her instagram is basically a business account nowadays.

People are going back and forth on whether or not she’s still close to former cast mates. However are ignoring the fact that Emma doesn’t even follow all her family members either. She probably keeps in touch in other ways. Even if she doesn’t keep in touch with them it’s not really anybody’s business except theirs
The twins mention in their podcast - both in the reunion episode and in the Bonnie episode - that 8 of them went for dinner one day after shooting the reunion and that Emma organized the dinner.
The 8 were: James, Oliver, Tom, Bonnie, Matt, Alfie, Dan and Emma.
They also mention larking about this Dan in the great hall.
So whilst I’m not sure about current contact - we know emma got them all together and that Emma and Dan were both at it. Dan and Rupert didn’t shoot as many scenes for the reunion or promo as Emma, Emma led it. But it was only Rupert that was missing for the trio interview - they CGId him in from Canada to the room with Emma and Dan.
For those interested they actually name who was at the dinner in the Bonnie episode. I don’t know why I care so much but it’s about halfway in. You can hear it on Spotify. Dan was there, as was Emma who got a shoutout for sorting it

As others have said I think we just hear less about the contact as there are generally less interviews with all of them. But every time we hear about them the WhatsApp groups seem alive and well. That they still have those given that shooting end 13 years ago says a lot to me! They still make some effort with one another after all this time, they must like each other.

However it’s lovely when I randomly bump into those I haven’t kept in touch with who I like, or they are in a wider circle of friends and we sometimes cross path at events or at Christmas socials.

Casting actors is a completely different process than hiring crew members. That's what agents and casting directors are for. You don't cast people through DMs.
