Emma Watson is nominated for the Observer Ethical Awards 2015

[Version française]

Emma is nominated as 'campaigner of the year'.
Many A-listers take up ambassadorial roles involving global development but few make a mark like Emma Watson. She used her inaugural speech as a UN Global Goodwill Ambassador for the UN in September 2014 to make an impressive speech on gender equality, launching HeForShe. Previously Emma has mixed substance with style, contributing ethical fashion collections for Fairtrade brand, People Tree. Seasoned activists reckon there is plenty more to come.

The winners will receive a specially designed trophy to acknowledge their success, which will be awarded at the ceremony on 2 July at the V&A Museum, London. They will also be included in our write up of the ethical issue of the Observer Magazine, published Sunday 5 July 2015.

If you vote, you might also win something. [LIST]
