New photoshoot and first interview in forever!
The magazine will be available in the UK on April 29 and 30. I don't know this magazine so I'm not sure whether it's a magazine on its own or a supplement of FT Weekend. Think about checking it out if you want to buy it (and take photos and send them here, you know, just a wild thought)

After a long absence from the spotlight, Emma Watson is back... and launching a premium gin with her brother Alex. In an exclusive interview, the actress, director and now distiller sits down to talk acting, Hollywood and growing up in a family obsessed with wine, food and the culture around it. “I was quite surprised when other children were very excited about the idea of getting their hands on alcohol,” she tells Alex Bilmes. “Dad had been giving me water with wine at lunch since I was a child. So I was quite confused when I was a teenager and everyone thought alcohol was this forbidden fruit."
She brings @alexbilmes over the France to meet the family and talk about the project, her decision to take time out from Hollywood and her ambitions to return to acting - and directing - on terms that make her happier and where she has more control.

That’s actually Emma’s place in LA.
Could be Mexico but I’d say more likely to be her place in Venice (US). They were both there as well, Mexico was early March.

Have you noticed that Emma was recently (April, 7th) on the front page of Daily Mail. The article mainly cited her birthday post on instagram.
I usually don't read that kind of yellow press, but I find it remarkable that a simply post (o.k., a large one) made it to a front page.

If you take a look at Jo Ellisons Instagram, Eden, you will find a little more information. Her handle is jellison22.
I am happy for her, but her word choice "obsessed" kind of ticked me. She seems to use this word often. She was obsessed with Queen of Tearling; was "obsessed somehow" with her Prada. Always these extremes. She needs to find continuity in something and not switch taxis so often. Sorry! I am professionally attuned to word choice and life choices. There is always something new and at a fast rate. She does not seem so immersed in her activism; there are a few tidbits here and there.

emma is always talking in marketing speak its really the point of these interviews i wouldn't get too upset about use of buzz words its just what she needs to say for her work
daily fail exploit Emma with hateful headlines then use her face for physical sales? lol desperate
the meeting with zhao is an example of the ambition to return to acting imo
The interview happened in France but the photoshoot looks to have been done in LA.
As others have said she uses buzz words deliberately but I do think she’s also very enthusiastic in how she communicates. I think it’s style and she doesn’t actually mean “obsessed”.
Very interested to read the full interview and sounds like she has lots going on in the background

Was the interview last year in france?
Emma was in USA/Mexico all of 2023 so far it seemed?
did she leave for france this month? or was the interview in 2022 when she was there? in december or whatever?
Interviews are not the real Emma's personality she is in 'business mode'
its just her dressing up the discussion a little to give the magazine some words to throw into headlines
'obsessed' is one that gets clicks and more eyes on her articles i guess so she uses it often

dont worry about DM we all know this is the kind of people they are nothing they say about emma means anything, in fact the way they go after her so hard is just proof they are threatened by her, and how many young people listen to emma and not to dm nonsense

Totally irrelevant question is that her dog Sophie/Sophia?
yup its her dog she adopted in Mexico i guess they did the photoshoot there as the dog is happy in its home country? xD
I think going by the design of those doors (yes im that big of a nerd lol) that this is in L.A actually
No Sophia usually travels with her (which is why Emma travels less and stays places longer), the dog isn’t just in Mexico. As others have said I’d guess at that being her place in LA.
