eden im curious why emma only seem to hang out with alex and not her other relatives that much? are they step siblings while alex is her full brother so they are closer?
i don't know her family much but i always hear she have sisters and other brothers but it feels like Alex and her are closer than the rest so im just wondering :)

We used to see her all the time with one of her step-brother and we haven't seen her with Alex for years. We only a ridiculous small amount of the people she spends time with. None of us here can tell who she's closer to.

Alex is just neared in age to emma than her younger sisters and brothers so maybe thats why also Alex tried to follow emma into modeling and being in the limelight so they work together and we all see them more in public than others who are more private and not seeking public attention so thats why we see alex more too
Emma and one of their step-brother are only a few months apart.
I would say also to remember Alex found out he disliked modeling and eventually left the spotlight so thats why he was not seen much for years either

XD One full brother, two step-brothers, one helf-brother and two twin half-sisters. They all went to the last HP London Premiere.
The girls are now 18, we got a candid of her with them a while back on holiday on Iceland. We also have Toby’s photos with her in LA. David lives in LA with his wife and child. We don’t see Andy much.
She seems pretty close to all of them. We’re just seeing a lot of Alex right now.
I remember Alex in The Order of Phoenix standing near Emma (she is looking at him) in the courtyard where Umbridge was humiliating and firing the Seer Teacher (The one who saw the prophecy in the glass ball). He also a boy eating in the great hall in one of the later films. He was quite young. If Emma was 15 in Phoenix, then he was about 13 years. Now he is a handsome young man; you can certainly tell they are related- actually it was always evident..
When emma had short hair they looked like twins haha

Maybe because Alex and Emma spends a lot of time together since they were children (look at Alex's birthday post for Emma and before everyone knows about his IG account he also got a lot of picture of them together that he deleted)....
maybe the divorce of their parents made them closer? Since they are coming from the same exact parents.
Emma also seems like a very caring big sister towards Alex (e.g: HP first premiere, she brings him everywhere with her) Even up untill now, we could see them being bery affectionate with each other (that new picture when they were on holiday and Alex is hugging Emma from behind)
Personally, I really like Emma, she seems to me to be an intelligent, educated, wise woman, but I can't see that she fits in (I don't know if this is well said, I don't speak English very well) anywhere. I explain. She has been an actress, an activist, she has worked in fashion, she has directed a campaign for a perfume, an occasional interviewer with artists, writers, now she collaborates in the creation of a gin... which some of these things go together and others do not, but it's like she wants to do everything, which is okay, she has time and money, but she seems to me like a person who needs to fit in somewhere and if she doesn't fit in, she looks for another job, and if she doesn't fit in this, she looks for another project, I don't know, I repeat, everyone does what they want with their lives, but she seems to me the eternal teen who is constantly looking for her place.
Just because we see Alex a lot now doesn’t mean she isn’t very close to the others. We simply see the interaction with Alex now as it’s very public. She’s mentioned numerous times how close she is to Dave (and his wife Lauren).
ts clear she hit a dead end about 3 years ago with her life and career (all that stuff about going to therapy, being in a 'covid cacoon' so on) I think she really made up her mind to move to production instead of acting as it really wasnt going anywhere and decided to remove most activism from her public life too during this era as its been causing problems. I think her new phase as a behind the scenes business person in L.A starts fully now, going by the tone used.

Media do not pick up emma news that much as her PR team seems to be gone (notice emma had to contact the FT writer herself on insta DMs for the article to happen)
aside from that the media only wants negative news about emma they even turned her birthday post into a negative with headlines they used to try and make emma seem like a weirdo who is too far into star signs or whatever
I'm tired of it tbh I dread any news about emma because it seems to be an excuse each time for papers and trash websites to drag her

The FT made a mistake of putting out preview extracts of the article a few days early so all the press stole that quote about her dad and wine and now a few days later they dont bother to check the full article and instead are happy to have got their clicks off the silly wine headlines
meh the less mainstream 'press' coverage of emma the better they will just write something like
"Emma Watson woke Gin ruined my life!!"

Firstly it’s a long weekend in the UK so the press will be on skeleton crews. Things from UK magazines generally get picked up by other Uk press first and then go international. The press is very quiet right now and next week will be focused on the royal family, lots of their teams will be on that.
Secondly just because we don’t see her mum don’t mean she isn’t frequently with her, we’ve only seen Chris twice and that was in press, her mum wouldn’t be in press.
Thirdly on Ed Sheeran it’s not Marvin Gaye’s family, it’s Ed Townsends, and it’s purely about chord progression. If the jury misunderstands it and says he copied it, let’s get it on wasn’t the original and hundreds of songs have used it since. The rhythm, melody and lyrics are different, and a chord progression is a building block of music. Theres only so many chords and orders they can put in. If he’s found liable (and most people think he won’t be and it’s just a shake down like the last lawsuit which lost against him) it’d be an incredibly stupid decision and you’ll see it called such publicly by anyone who knows about music. The jury would have misunderstood it (which is unfortunately common in copyright cases as they’re very technical).
People need to read the other thread about her Oxford course. The masters is an MSt so two years part time designed for people who are also working. It’s not like a degree or one year taught masters. She won’t be physically there a lot.

I think Emma is simply more suited to period dramas and historical settings like little women and Hamnet makes more sense for her than actions roles

Those were the journalists words and not Emma’s, but Alex Biles is experienced and reputable, I took the “if everything goes to plan” as a reference to the timing i.e. it actually filming in early 2024. Filming start dates often change in Hollywood
It won’t be false it’s whether it shoots on time or not. Also Emma watson going back to acting isn’t much news for the likes of DM without the film. I expect deadline or variety to break it and then we’ll get a response!

I saw on Quora questions site people asking what it was like to be at Brown with Emma Watson and most people say like 'she was very nice' or 'oh we were too scared to talk to her in case she got bothered' so sounds like people did nothing wrong at all lol
I feel like if something bad ever happened there to Emma, someone visiting Brown would probably be responsible. I doubt anyone attending would risk coming for a celebrity and potentially being kicked out of a 50k a year university. (I'm assuming the amount of money, I don't actually know)

On the Brown story she’s constantly denied it, just be annoying.
Why bring up Brown U. Emma was positive about BU and had friends like Scout Willis. She was in the theater at the university. You do not need to be a celebrity to get a bounce at university; that is part of life. But this is really old stuff and has not been mentioned for a long time.
