This date from December 2025 so I don't know if it's still going on.
Emma is said to have taught 11 students that she invited to a Christmas party she hosted. The person doesn't know exactly what Emma is teaching saying "something performance-related, focusing on communication".

If she really is a lecturer now, then I guess that it’s now confirmed that she finished her masters.
She’s so smart ! Jealous
Not really as such. She is just using her privileged connections.
Come on Eden you can do better than this.
An unsourced report from a person who claims Emma is a lecturer they just have no idea what in.
And lo and behold a picture of Emma in a mortarboard and academic apparel, which a quick reverse image search will show has been online since 2015.
This is Daily Mail level of fail.
Eden, how did you find this out ?
Why post this as new? I know the post is new but it literally said in her profile for brilliant minds that she had taught at Oxford!! We discussed it then. It’s very likely she started picking up tutorials as part of her masters. If she’s doing a DPhil she’d also do this. It’s not switching to be a permanent lecturer, it’s incredibly standard to teach small classes and select courses as part of what she’s doing.
What will be super frustrating for everyone with any knowledge of this is comments like the above asking if she’s a lecturer now!!
We already know this from the Stockholm event. Eden the headline is misleading, people will think she’s a full time lecturer and that isn’t the case at all. She’d have picked up classes and tutorials as part of her study and probably still does.
Nearly all research masters students at Oxford teach, likewise those progressing towards a DPhil. It’s great that she’s done or doing it, but watch the totally misinterpreted “oh so she’s left acting” comments roll in.
Good for her but, whilst it isn’t compulsory, Oxford DPhil students, especially in humanities, nearly always act as undergrad “lecturers” or tutors running small-group tutorials or leading laboratory demonstrations and classes. It sometimes happens during part-time or research masters as well depending on the college and the subject. So it could have been for either. And it’s pretty normal.
Hasn’t this been discussed for the last few months on here as it was in her brilliant minds public profile? Someone here even said about the students being invited to her place in Oxford over Christmas and Emma being their tutor… this feels like Déjà vu.
She finished her masters last year. The only question is on whether she’s actually gone onto a DPhil. It looks likely but we don’t know. And you can teach tutorials during a masters anyway depending on the collage.
Lol Eden. Appreciative of your efforts, but we know. It’s already been on here!
I thought for a split second this was an actual lecturer job and then opened the post and realized it’s been said about her teaching as part of her studies. Bit of a jump start.
Good Masters and PHD students taught classes at my uni. I thought that was normal
