Emma Watson in Teen Vogue US (June/July 2004) with Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint

Emma's bit: By contrast, Emma Watson, fourteen, who plays Hermione Granger, says she "spent ages denying that I was even the slightest bit like her." "I'm not," she offers by way of example, "a master fan of schoolwork or teachers." But over the years she's some to see that, like Hermione, she can be "quite bossy," and is "very loyal to my friends," a group that now includes Rupert and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry himself), as they grow up together on set and off. Indeed, the trio's advancement toward adulthood can hardly be ignored by any audience of the series' brand-new third installment. Even if the actors insist that fame and fortune haven't changed them, time has. All three are much taller, and according to Emma, "more broad-shouldered, and deeper voiced" (though we hope she's only talking about the boys in the last bit).
