hmmm i think people want Emma to act like she is still in her twenties or late teens lol she has matured and changed direction with her social media I guess...I do kinda miss when she would post about her printer being broken or silly stuff and not being all work and business all the time

Same. Even in interviews we don't get silly anecdotes about herself. I think she really closed herself up with her fans unfortunately. Oh well, just gotta accept it... but I don't want to and prefer continuing hoping.
I think when she said "no more selfies with fans please" and stopped posting tweets that sounded like she was writing them that we should have been ready then for her to be closing herself off from fans.
It must have got tiring to have to 'perform' for us all the time if that is a correct way to phrase it.
Being in the public eye so long since childhood made her kind of jaded towards her audience and the media imo.
It happens to a lot of famous people but there isn't much we can do about it so let's not worry and just follow what news we have haha
it is normal that she has closed herself to her fans. She has fans who know about her social networks and who harass her friends (the fans who write on this blog for example) on top of that, every time a celebrity expresses themselves freely, they are usually criticized by a sector, so her social networks are in the hands of a community manager. It's sad, but it's the best for her

True. I don't blame her for it. But it won't stop me from hoping she'll feel like communicating with us again one day.
I think Emma just realized she was letting the public see too much of her real self and wanted to keep that side for her family and friends and people close to her so she stopped oversharing on social media and made it more about business. Which is fair enough.
Both stans and haters are the same to her, a wave of people who like to pry into her private life and she is totally aware of this. I completely understand her closing herself off to anyone. I'm glad her friends have been protecting her privacy and not exposing her as much as possible.
