Another time for Potterheads to assemble!
The director of the first two Harry Potter movies talked to The Wrap (thank you, Anon) about the 3-hour long version of 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' with Peeves in it, basically telling us the reason we didn't get is because of the parents while the kids were loving it.
"We knew that the film worked because we did a couple of previews. Particularly a Chicago preview where our first cut was a three-hour cut. Parents afterwards said it was too long, the kids said it was too short. I thought, well, the kids presumably have a shorter attention span so this is a good thing."

Yes let's get #ReleaseThePeevesCut trending on twitter! hahaha
I'd really like to see what Peeves special effects looked like
If warner bros had any sense they would release a new blu ray collection of all 8 films extended editions with all deleted scenes added back in and do some commentary tracks like lord of the rings with cast and crew

Please get hired at WB. Thanks.
nah time for the #EdenCut
where it just every Hermione scene cut together xd
extended editions even just made for HBO max would be a great move and get many subscribers to that service
My cut would be the very long version but cut all of Draco's scenes XD Nothing against Tom, everything against Draco.
"extended editions even just made for HBO max would be a great move and get many subscribers to that service"
Is that even available outside of the US?
Tom Bombadil all over again. Those sorts of mischievous imp characters tend to just be irritating in movies. Rik Mayall wasn't exactly known for his restraint.
Yes! It needs less Draco and more Fleur so the Fleurmione ship can end this dramione madness :P
Also, I think HBO max is only coming to Europe from 2022 maybe?
videogame version of peeves on ps1 is the best version lol

But Fleur and Bill are so cute together though. Hermione can be single and happy not to mingle. There's no asexual person in the story, she can be one.
I think Hermione and krum was cute actually so that or be single
(anyway will hide from draco and rons fans now xD)
"I think Hermione and krum was cute actually"
I also thought they were cute until I realized she was 15 and Krum already 18 which makes me want to puke.
Krum was more of a physical being (really weird joke for 14 year olds).
Hermione is 14 in goblet of fire I thought? so yeah its was pretty bad...all romance in those books was tbh
very weak subplots that felt forced...Hermione is clearly attracted to books not people ;)
Krum atleast looked like 22 , no way he was 18.
Hermione set my gaydar off a lot more than other characters tbh aside from tonks who was also very gay hahahahah
This guy?

Nah, that's not Peeves. Looks like Barty Jr ghost.
Hermione was born in September 1979 and HP4 starts in 1994.
Well with all the retconning that happens Hermione will end up married to Neville any day now.
(Also its in the book Neville asked her to the ball but that way too old Krum got there first...sigh would have been so cute)
"Hermione is clearly attracted to books not people ;)"
you joke but i saw fanfics before where Hermione is in love with an actual book
also, Draco started dating an Apple, look up 'Drapple' ship swear its real! lmao
#Dumbledione
That's the Harvey Weinstein cut.
"#Dumbledione"
There are actually people shipping these two. I have seen the worst "fan"arts between basically Hermione/Harry and any character, human and non-human.
The worst is that they use the faces of the actors, even late Alan Rickman.
Hermione/Ginny/Luna are in a Ménage à trois relationship no one can convince me otherwise :P
There is a Hogwarts/Giant Squid ship...so yeah
You people can laugh, but real life......

Yeah People marry trees and stuff all the time in real life
so Hemione can marry a book if she wants xD

Oh God, is happening
