I'm sure there will be people who disagree, but to my mind Greta is a legend.

And if anyone was in any doubt what a farce cop26 was.
Consider Boris Johnson took a private plane from Glasgow to London so he could attend a private dinner for people who used to work for the Daily Telegraph newspaper.

Emma is the host she clearly enjoys being a listener and learning more by interviewing these activists.

Greta just destroyed all these clowns who fly into this event on a private jet like Boris who cant even be bothered to take the train from London and fell asleep during the last meeting lol

Anonymous said...

All politicians are hypocritical, the more shameless people have the opportunity to be leaders lol

Anonymous said...

if you add up all the cO2 from the jets of leaders who flew into this event it would show that not holding this cop26 meeting would be better for the environment than actually holding it xd

when china and India's leaders do not show up (the nations with the biggest carbon issues)the whole thing becomes pointless what is a tiny country like Wales (my home) going to be able to do that will fix anything comapred to the giants of China and India? :(

Anonymous said...

The way Boris and Biden were literally sleeping and all the leaders are busy doing photo op.

Anonymous said...

Lol Anon our good for nothing, vile, indian prime minister did show up and roamed around without mask and were hugging every world leaders

Anonymous said...

oh really? sorry i heard china and india ignored the event

oh well boris showed up too and slept through it as others said lol Greta is right this thing is a failure they had 26 cops now and nothing was changed. Protests in the streets against huge carbon emitters is the only action that can be done we must hurt their wallets as always

Saw 2 close up pic. That hair style is absolute banger.

New pictures turning up, a really good one of her outfit here: https://twitter.com/49Nord/status/1456287945787428870/photo/2

We've been protesting climate change since the 60s, I'm not sure we can say it's been any more effective than the policy meetings.

There are 2 other pics of Emma with all climate activists. Lol my detective skulls are paying off

"my detective skulls are paying off"

o_O How many detectives have you killed?

Anonymous said...

Greta is part of the bla bla bla does not propose any change she needs to study something so that she can contribute like all those young people who have presented their project, they are the true change and it is good that they give them visibility.

Skills. Ugh auto correct.
"How many detectives have you killed"
Maybe around 23, I don't count. XD

Don't auto corrects change for the most used terms? Interesting.

Eden said...

"Eden please post more shots of Emma's hair for r/EmmaWatsonHair! ;)"

I think I'd need to go to Glasgow myself to be able to get a proper photo of her hairdo.

Sweden air travel dropped by 16% since Greta started campaigning and yes she doesn't fly like these world leaders who took a jet to this even doesn't seem like she is bla bla bla to me xd

Anonymous said...

poor Eden there is still no Emma feet pics for you...oh well maybe next time

Someone posted "21 is not a child". The rest was either rude or a joke. Couldn't tell so I won't publish the comment.

You had one job, Emma. Look at the camera.

Anonymous said...

Y'all I don't think the point is to pick apart which person at this event has done more than the others they are all trying to do what they can stop trying to tear them down.

Save it for leaders like Biden and Johnson asleep as always smh

The flying thing is a bit misleading. Private jets are massive polluters and no-one should be using them, but general aviation and ships actually both contribute about 2% of CO2, and container ships actually pollute less than passenger ships because they travel very slowly to conserve fuel. Unless you're travelling very short distance, ships aren't better.

Anonymous said...

nah emma saw we wanted to see her hair so she turned around for us lmao

Anonymous said...

"he hasn't been seen with Emma for 8 years now!!"

this killed me haahhahahaah

Anonymous said...

Greta used a zero-emissions boat

Anonymous said...

LMAO I have one more, where she is looking at the camera, but quality is shit.

yeah these people are very serious about carbon output it seems...rolls eyes

Anonymous said...

I didn't know Greta had any real-world impact that's pretty impressive for how young she is but she still just irritates me sorry haha

Anonymous said...

"Greta used a zero-emissions boat"

Which is totally feasible for everyone else. Besides which, she travels short distances. Not travelling internationally isn't really much of a solution when people need to travel internationally. Unless you're willing to spend months crossing the Atlantic and Pacific, it's not a real alternative.

Anonymous said...

Greta used it to get to America actually

one day it may be possible to implement this zero-emissions stuff to all ships i dont really know how it works

the main point is she lives by what she says unlike leaders at this talks who will never change the way they live despite saying otherwise

One thing to keep in mind is that electric engines are not efficient, so they're not suited to long distance passenger ferries. That's where a lot of the confusion comes from with planes vs ships, most ferries are short range and have fairly small engines, while long distance ocean liners that carry more passengers (which is needed to make a profit at longer distances) need bigger engines that use dirtier fuel.
So it's not one issue. Ferries (even polluting ones) are better than planes at short distances, but ships are a lot worse at long distances, and electric motors aren't powerful enough for anything but small ferries.

I only use rail travel around Europe myself not really an echo warrior I'm just scared to fly lmao
if more countries fixed their rail systems and japan style bullet trains were made more available a lot of air travel could be cut down. Some countries have neglected railways a lot like Ireland where I used to live for such a small country the rail lines are very lacking most people will take a plane from the south to north as its easier than getting to a train station in some cases

The government don't want to invest in though as " trains are obsolete technology because they require expensive and dedicated infrastructure that will serve no purpose other than moving passengers" or so I read when checking why only japan has bullet trains ages ago.

Anonymous said...

id be more scared to get on a bullet train than on a plane lol train crashes seem likely at that speed there must be a reason why only ever heard of japan using that kind of train, maybe other countries have them but im not sure.

Is she forgot to press the trousers or is it designed to be like that. Too broke to know.
Also she looks so genuinely happy.

Well that's you banned.

The French are rightly rather proud of their TGV high speed rail network.

As it happens plenty other countries have or are developing them as well and they are very safe (as indeed is plane travel).
