I'm sad Elementals failed at box office it was good but everyone was talking about spiderman instead i think they released too close to it and other big block busters by mistake it would have done better at Christmas imo
Disney turned them into sequel machines they are even making toy story 5 now smh and everyone ignore original work like elementals because they got turned off of them its so dumb what happened there...

She has accepted some terrible movies like The Circle and Regression which are based off books that she probably read and enjoyed which made her interested in the role. At least she made the right choice in Beauty and the Beast and Little Women
I think she took scripts that were sent her way and try to do her best with it even if script is not great, however, she got tired of them a little and felt trapped and not in control of the final product so wanted to make her own things and work more with friends

She was still kind enough to promote those last movies though, even though that could have ben part of her contract, but still. for example, Just imagine, If you watch interviews of her promoting Little Women on the red carpet, she's putting on a smile but in the back of her mind she's probably thinking "I don't want to be here and I don't feel comfortable" poor thing.
Also I think she's forever done with the role of Hermione due to that reboot announcement and will never reprise that role that basically changed her life. She will most likely feel comfortable as a director but, might still act probably either in movies she's directing from here on out, or some movies with a director who she trusts and makes her feel comfortable, empowering, in control and not "caged."
