I suspect you’re joking but just in case: A ban from an accumulation of penalty points on your licence in the UK does not give you a criminal record or conviction. It’s not an arrestable offence. Not if she was convicted of drunk driving, drug driving of dangerous driving she’d have a criminal record. Totally different.
Why? She was just speeding, not killing someone/using drugs/raping someone or beating someone.

Seriously, some of these comments sound like they were written by a child, ‘criminal’? Haha. And someone is clearly trying desperately to bring Emma down. First of all, why would Prada even need perfume ads? Why are they posting Emma? What do people think they’re gaining from working with her? In the end, the comments just come off as funny. What’s the problem? Even the headlines make people wonder why this is considered news, especially the part about going 38 in a 30 zone.

But it’s a fact that this is the biggest headline in ages. It’s basically everywhere. Emma needs to really do something big at this point. Her news are always so irrelevant. It’s been a lot of time. I’m tired! :(
Emma is not criminal and she hasn't killed anyone or wrecked anything by speeding. A ban of six months driving is not a jail-time sentence for god sake.
What can she do? She’s studying, maybe doing a PhD, enjoying sports, and working with a top fashion brand. If you’re waiting for a movie, it probably won’t happen anytime soon.
Her name always draws attention, so they twist even the smallest things into drama. Last time she just went rowing last time, and somehow they still found something negative to comment on. Honestly, it’s ridiculous.
She has been convicted of speeding. She had been warned many times. She won't be able to work in the USA for a while for example.
I don’t think she can… she doesn’t even have a team that she works with consistently anymore. Last I checked, her IMBD only lists a general lawyer as her representative. And I’m pretty sure the New York LW premier was the last time Luke was at any type of event with her. It probably has to do with the fact that she meant it when she said she was taking a step back… Because if were being honest it’s not she promotes Prada or goes to Prada events the way their other ambassadors do.

Look the British media has had it out for her since her early twenties… I’d personally argue that they only liked her when she was a kid that did and said everything they wanted, but I digress. The international media is pushing this story because her name generates clicks no matter how much girly wish it wouldn’t. The fact that she’s so private, makes it so that more people read any headline that involves her personal life (because it comes across as something she’s keeping secret, that has now been found out by the public). What other reason do any of you have for that Judie girl to watch her and a stranger at a park for almost an hour, just to turn around and tell Daily Fail. Because let’s be honest, if Jimmy from 2 houses down got caught with parking violations and going 8mph over the limit which resulted in got penalty points… it wouldn’t be headline worthy news. The only reason anybody is reporting on this isn’t because of what she did, it’s because of who she is. Because I don’t mean to throw anybody under the bus… she’s had other costars get caught speeding by a lot more than 8mph… and nobody gave a single fuck.
Also everybody say with me now “A driving ban is NOT a crime, therefore it WOULD’NT make her a criminal, nor is it a arrestable offense” thank you.
Is the story everywhere… yeah. But, from the comment sections I’ve seen literally nobody is taking it seriously. Especially not anybody from the Americas (yes I mean Americas as in the two continents). I’ve seen people make fun of her for getting in trouble for speeding 8mph over the limit in Brazilian Portuguese English, and Spanish(if you’re Hispanic, you already know not all Spanish is the same). Instead of the outcry for being person with bad morals that the phrasing in British media’s headlines make her out to be.
Also if you’re American (the U.S. this time) get the actual fuck off your soapbox. Not only am I from here, but I grew up moving every 2 years from city to city until I was 21. Now I travel all around the U.S. for work… I KNOW that most of y’all have sped minimum 5mph over the limit this week. Hell, if you’re from a city that has officers instead of sheriffs as your general police force , I’m gonna need you to sit down and quit trying to drag her for going 8mph over the limit. Especially if you use an expressway, freeway, highway or even an interstate as a part of your everyday commute. For those of you in smaller towns… I’ve seen the way some of you drive on major roads after 8pm… y’all know damn well that it’s more than just 8mph over the limit…

There's the old joke about a UK driver being pulled over for speeding in the USA, but the police officer chose not to book him as he was obviously a good driver with all those endorsements on his UK licence.
