Well it's pretty clear they filmed it separately. For one thing, Dan is in focus and Rupert isn't despite them being on the same plane. Actually the focus is weird overall, Emma's legs are in focus but her face isn't. I mean, they're sitting down, how do you screw that up? Also, anyone with video editing experience should be able to spot the chroma key job on Rupert.
They really are cobbling this thing together. I wonder if they slapped this shot together to try to stifle the Deuxmoi story.

I actually thought something seemed off about the photo bu was hoping I was over-analyzing.
Oh it was in London, Dan and Rupert flew in and had a super quick turnaround. They’ll show they looking at the sets and interacting (in a Covid friendly way).

They’re together let’s stop with the conspiracy theories. The photo has just been retouched as the light is bad. They might just have done pick-ups and adds after they returned to where they’d flown in from. WB wouldn’t have advertised it as “return to hogwarts” if they didn’t fly Rupert in, just because he wasn’t seen doesn’t mean he wasn’t in the UK for 24/48 hours.
They’ve released this to stop the false rumours. Dan was even seen in London. They maybe did extras in Canada but that they weren’t together at some point is crap
It's physically impossible for one person to be in focus and another out of focus when they're the same distance from the camera. That's not a conspiracy theory, it's physics.
You see such a photo simply isn't enough to stop such rumours ;-)
The respected industry mags, Variety, Deadline etc. are saying it was taped at Leavesden. I believe them every day of the week over Deuxmoi which is nowadays just rubbish. Variety etc would have scooped a separate shooting. As people have said if other things happened elsewhere it was probably pick-ups etc.
In some ways Rupert actually looks like he's at a lower resolution rather than out of focus, but either way he's definitely not in the same shot. Whether Dan and Emma are, I couldn't say.
This picture looks odd, it's true that they weren't shot in the same place, this is more like a composite picture. Emma and Daniel were clearly in the same place, they were sitting on the same couch, Rupert's was not, and the light on Rupert's face was clearly different from Emma and Daniel's. It's too hard for WB to find the same couch XD
The editing looks really bad...Dan looks like a giant here.

I see Daniel closer camera than Rupert, it is like his chair bigger or something like that ?? I don't know, but I even feel Daniel is not looking Rupert at all. Anyway, this could be only my imagination, since it can not handle they had not filmed together. I dont't think so they are going to appear in the scenes already sitted in the chairs. The most natural is a meeting where we see kiss and hugs.

Btw Eden what time of year did emma have her hair like this? I think it will prove what month it was filmed and if they were actually in the same place or in different studios and its edited together.

It was obvious Emma filmed at London studios (look at her walking gif it's one of their sets) and reports of the filming and cameras being in the area also showed up. If she had flown to Canada people would have pics of her some point but last shots of her are getting coffee in London so I doubted she left
When is Emma going to post the pic on insta? Eden give her the phone, it is okay that she is in your basement but it is not okay that you seized her phone. XD
we last saw her with no bangs walking down the street with long light brown hair start of November she may have got a hair cut around November 16th or before to film on 17th at London studio were Tom Felton also posted photos of saying he was with two "gryffindorks" but not three of them so Rupert was else where imo

I don't think that WB executives are stupid. They know if they are going to do this, people are going to be pissed.

People talking about light, the light will be very different on 3 people in 3 different positions even if they are in the same room, especially the dark studio sets. Honestly Deuxmoi is just talking nonsense. And they might not hug etc due to Covid, which is why they’re distanced. They filmed it as a 3 in the Harry Potter studio tour in Leavesden. People look for conspiracy in everything nowadays!
The boys probably did pick-ups and extra voiceover and interviews in Canada as people have said. Which makes perfect sense. But this interview was shot at Leavesden.
Are people really expecting hugs and stuff? listen they were co-workers, not best friends in real life, it was a job. I expect them to just come in the room and sit down calmly and be very adult and not overly touchy-feely. Share some laughs and stories then leave.
Have lower expectations and you will be better off whatever happens.
the meeting has just been pretty precipitate in my humble opinion. If WB did not see the way to meet Emma, Rupert and Daniel in the same place, then they should have waited more time to realize the special. After all we have waited 20 years so... but filming a meeting for the HP anniversary was too sweet and above all tempting as to lose this opportunity... I suppose.
A lot of chat shows are still being shot with social distancing which would explain the chairs, and they leave it up to the actors if they want to touch, but most of the them on Graham Norton and stuff don’t. Still very distanced.
I know they are not the best friends as fandom believes, I am not stupid, but when you share many memories whith other people... and you have not seen them about 12 years or more... well the normal thing is having some show of affect among them. I have seen others meetings and they hugged, each other this is typical. At least in my culture. Maybe Uk citizens are less affective.

why is important they are in the same place? well, this is what WB is selling to fans. A meeting like Friends. I do not want to know what they felt recording the films. ZZZZZ. God. Nothing happened. I think some people might not have been part of the fandom when someone started the rumour so they're only hearing about it now.

I remember those dates but tbh I think some were just 1-time dates like cole cook never was seen with her again. One Brandon went to Mexico with her and looked pretty cosy at the hotel seemed like a hookup.
Brenden irbe maybe was less serious. Then there was a guy Dominic(last name I forget) which seemed less serious too.
We know she and Tom have this flirting stuff going on for years and it makes sense that they were close for so long that they would just have fun together in that time frame.

I just took the self-partnered thing to mean that she doesn't want to be dependent on a guy to be happy in life. For some reason people took it literally, like she was dating herself.

There are plenty of people who played Gryffindors who will be part of the reunion though, it doesn't to be Daniel and Emma. I think Tom is/was close to Matthew and the Phelps brothers.

that's easy. They want to take advantage the anniversary. I am sure they had not even thought about the meeting until Oct and Nov.
If they had thought in depth in this meeting throughout year WB would have found the way so that Daniel, Emma and Rupert were in the same studio. But they had not thought about doing anything special apart of the tournament. They had not counted with expectacion the anniversary has generated in the fans, then they can not lose the opportunity to make money.
They just rushed this reunion to cash in after the Friends one was a hit no real planning no actual care, just quick cash grab getting more hbo max subs warner bros are trash

WB was ill-prepared, I think they contacted the trio discuss the reunion until October, they should have prepared earlier. Daniel said a few months ago that he was busy and probably wouldn't be involved in the reunion. WB had a hard time getting them together mostly because Daniel and Rupert were both busy with work, except for Emma who was on vacation all year, so they must have paid the trio a large sum of money to get back together. WB will mess up and by then people will realize that Rupert has been edited and it's a ridiculous and awkward reunion XD
