The Disney live action remakes aren’t meant for us, they are meant for little kids. Also Beauty and the Beast is the 2nd highest live action remakes in history making $1.2 billion. Emma is still a sell at box office and Harry Potter fans will watch for her.

I'm just reading her words and its how it sounded to me its okay for others to take it differently it's just what I got from it.

Her words were more about the 'manafactured emma watson image' the media and public have of her not being the real her and it was getting a bit much or something like that i need to read it again but it was very honest an draw peice very open and emotional and I was shocked she let us see her soul so much after being closed off for a long time.

Emma did give us many insights to her life back in the day, I recall one time she even posted about being questioned at an airport while wearing a back pack because she looked like an unattended child lmao she used to be so funny online it was amazing.

I've been a fan of Emma since 2001. I remember when her website Emma Watson Official was brand new and still active from 2007 to 2013, I'm still wondering why she shut that down? When she joined social media in the very beginning like Facebook or Twitter she was more "interactive" with her fans, if that's the right word to use, like she was on her website, of course she was just a teen to early 20-something back then in that era. But as time went on she became more mature and when she started her activism journey, which is awesome by the way, she put a target on her back. Of course she has to set boundaries because of the whole celebrity thing and the fact that she doesn't know the millions of people that follow her, aside from her personal circle of friends & family that of course do know her. I also think it has something to do with being part of the cast of The Circle back in 2015 and reading the book that the movie is based on, she could really relate to that character, and that really made her think about the dark side of social media, and that's when she started to step back a bit, you know what I mean. Of course she would still post and promote things related to her acting career and her activism. Also she admitted in the Harry Potter 20th anniversary special the fame really "hit home" it started to stress her out basically even before joining social media. She's just a person not an Olympian god that a lot of obsessed fans put her on a pedestal and make her out to be, she grew up in the eye of the storm since she was 11, she needs her privacy. I guess she needed to take a long awaited break away from the public eye and she's willing to post stuff again even if its to promote her work/business/or brands she supports. Lets also not forget that a pandemic happened in 2020 and she needed to go into lockdown like everyone else in the world and stay safe and survive the apocalypse. So I think a lot of these factors influenced her use of social media.

It's always funny that people think she's giving out cryptic hints about her personal life. She didn't even mention the engagement rumors until the retirement rumors came out and even that was only because they persisted after her manager tried to clear them up.

She changed her bio last week, on 20 june or 19 (I'm totally sure because I follow a page on telegram who posted a screenshot of Emma's new bio). Actually the bio changed two times: in the first, which appeared for few hours (and I saw it with my eyes, it was written "actor, director, writer" and something funny about pickleball and gin; the second remained until last evening and it said "pickleball aficionado+grand duchess of ginspirationn). That's all (sorry for my English).
