As far was we know he falls into the ,a couple dates but nothing serious category of guys she was linked to. Also I’m pretty sure they’re just friends now, I mean him and Alex mutually follow each other. Something they didn’t do until Renais became a thing, maybe he was giving them advice as somebody who’s managed to create a pretty successful start-up. Also after their “break up” in a interview Emma even said she’s managed to stay friends with some exes now that she’s older, rather than hating them the way she used to when she was younger. Also as far as anybody on here know Emma is still with Kieran (there’s literally proof no that she isn’t) and he’s also in relationship of his known, that should be respected. Anonymous said...: It became more obvious that her views don’t match the mostly conservative readers views of the Daily Fail. They weren’t exactly her biggest fans by any means… but they got mad when she got older and, didn’t let them push their views on to her. Also they’re convinced that she owes everything to Rowling, even though she had little to do with the Potter movies…before Rowling shooters come for me , (she literally turned down the invitation for the reunion special , because she felt like it was more so, to celebrate the movies…that she had almost no part in). It doesn’t help that people are genuinely convinced that Emma only got into prestigious universities cause of HP… instead of y’know, being known as notoriously studious (and in the words of Alfonso Cuarón, one of the smartest person on set, including the adults)…. Which in some ways explains how the anti-transphobic statements Emma made in 2019… make the whole she “bit the hand that feeds her” (even though they haven’t worked together since 2011) argument make sense in their minds. They (much like Rowling) feel entitled to her because she grew up in the public eye (and as Hermione)… so how dare she not agree with them!!! Then due to the backlash of that, while also defending Rowling’s view (aka her mocking trans people and pulling the “I told you so”card) about the article referencing detransitioning trans people didn’t help, (resulting in Evanna deleting her instagram). At this point in time it’s just not feasible to be neutral, when Rowling helped fund the bill that got passed a few weeks ago that basically fucks over trans rights. I wouldn’t be surprised if those two pull the “well it’s the law” on the future when referring to trans people. Also to the people who were surprised that Tom used Emma’s name for publicity… where have you guys been? That man never shuts up about Potter, to the point that (yes I know he’s employed) there’s peaked in high-school and unemployment jokes about it on Twitter(I’m never calling it by its stripper name). The only exception are the little ones, their parents aren’t part of the exception though. Because Rowling has voiced (she literally never shuts up) her stance on trans people too many times to pull the “I didn’t know she was like this” card. The show itself is giving cash grab(for the actors, yes Tom included) tax write off(for WB). Personally I’m genuinely rooting for its cancellation after season 1… I will say though, in the interview Tom gave, he says there’s no talk about the show in the group chat… Which is slightly sad when you remember how the OG cast was happy for the Fantastic Beasts (cast/crew, and to an extent the HP fans) when the first one was announced… Y’know before Rowling wasn’t a terf (well, at least publicly) and it wasn’t her entire personality… And well before the other things the FB cast has been involved in… or Ezra Miller as a whole…; April 30, 2025 at 3:08 PM
