I wouldn’t put Wallace,Iribe or to an extent Green onto the mix of actual boyfriends. If anything those three coupled with George, Johnny and Chord fall more into the couple dates not necessarily serious but probably were together longer than people realize category. Whether it’s because they were actively dating or because they were busy and lived in different parts of the world. And weren’t around each other in comparison to the ones she dated in a way nobody can say that they weren’t together. They tend to fall into the 6-9 months to a year and a half as far as time together goes

Why do you care why a hypothetical person might not want to marry her more than why she would want to marry them? Marriage is a two way street, if you want somebody who hasn’t dated much then good for you. But not everybody wants somebody with limited experience as far as relationships go. Also I’ve personally found that those who do date around have a more clear vision of what they want from a relationship and, more importantly what type of shit they don’t let slide. Assuming she does want to get married someday , I’d hope that it’s somebody who’s equally interested in marrying her as the way she is with them.

She’s said s couple times that the media assumes she’s dated a guy just because he’s next to her. Whether or not she’s still with Kieran isn’t anybody business, except hers. What I’ve heard is that he’s was or is a bit of a playboy but that’s about it as far as anything bad goes. Can we all be honest here, this is potentially the beginning of the end for Emma fandom. It’s been obvious for years she wants out of the public eye and to live her life without public notice.
It’s also obvious (and realistically was as early as 2009-10) that she doesn’t enjoy acting. She wrote it off for a while as being due to the constrictions of her Harry Potter contract.but after a few initially successful post HP forays it became rapidly diminishing returns. She wants to enjoy her money and be a private citizen. Good for her

I became a fan of Emma and then watched Harry Potter because of what she stands for and her personality. Her activism may have affected her acting career, but staying true to herself is what matters most.

It’s normal to step away from the public eye. Life can be tough, and sometimes we all need a break. Many people come back stronger after some time away. And with the new Harry Potter cast coming, maybe she didn’t want her name brought up too much. Maybe she just wants some peace, especially with the trio being announced soon, and comparisons bound to happen.

Ever since Rowling decided to have a weird obsession with trans people (and for a week this year, with ace people), the trio has been hounded by the media in the U.K. Especially with the new bill that got passed this month, she's been incredibly cartoon villain-level annoying. Emma had been saying that she would take a step back since last year, people are just surprised that she actually meant it. She's never particularly struck me as the type of celebrity that enjoyed being in the spotlight in the first place, though. Past co-stars and even directors have all made comments about it in the past, with the most recent being from Felton's book, where he says he's not sure if she would've even auditioned (for Potter) if she knew all the attention that would come with the job.

Hot take , but I genuinely think she likes not being in the public eye more than she does being on it. I do think she means it when she talks about wanting to be more involved behind the scenes, as she’s expressed that particular interest since she was 13. Also people who are in the industry but don’t have job security as far roles go (but love the attention they get from the public)tend to post quite a lot on social media as a way to stay relevant in said public’s mind. Meanwhile we’re lucky if Emma remembers the fact that she has social media in the first place. Honestly if it wasn’t for Renais and the Prada paradox perfume… I genuinely think girly would’ve shut her account down. And to be fair, given how much the media has hounded her since Rowling became a terf… I don’t blame her.

Ok smart a**, produce some evidence that she actually wants to still be a public figure? She’s an actor that hasn’t had a role in 7 years and has had 1 role in 9-10 years, in 4 months this year she’s had no public appearances and put out 1. Video that I’d imagine was probably a contractual obligation (or an excuse to write off a ski trip as a work expense!). In the last 3-4 years her actual public appearances have tailed off dramatically. I see no evidence that she wants an ongoing public presence in any significant way. Even her university course is specifically for behind the scenes activity, so you shoe me where I’m wrong?
And btw I’m not complaining about this, good luck to her, it’s her life, she’s rich and seems to lead a pretty fulfilling life. I’m sure she doesn’t want, or need, the drama and bs that goes with being a major public figure

LOL, I remember a few months ago when someone said her contract with Prada was either about to be up or already was and honestly, I believed it. I agree that the video was still within the terms of the contract, especially since she had the link to buy the perfume on her page, and for the longest time, she had Renais there too.

Let’s be honest: as much as we want to deny it, the girl is basically retired whether she says it or not. Also, I read a blind item years ago that people believed was about her, saying she kept auditioning for roles but wasn’t being offered what she wanted.

And JK Rowling… with how wild she is, that woman still has influence, and it feels like she has a personal vendetta against the actors, but especially Emma. So yeah, Emma’s career could very well be getting sabotaged. Maybe that’s also why she’s stepped back from her activism, or at least from showing it on her Instagram. It’s like she’s been laying low across the board.

I wouldn’t surprised if her career is getting fucked over thanks to Rowling’s influence. But regarding that blind, was the one where they would offer her to triple her rate if she did nude scenes? Because I remember her strict no nudity clause being a determining factor in the movies she did post HP. And honestly, good for her. It says that the our trio,em,Dan and rupert were not aware of the series happening and are not aware of who they will be casting as the new trio.
According to those who work at the daily fail,this is rowling's "ultimate revenge" on the three for their "betrayal" and that she intends for them to be kept in the dark about any future developments regarding cast and filming,in essence they'll find out who's been cast as who along with the rest of us.

I find funny how some people honestly think the original cast didn’t know about the reboot. Like I’m pretty sure they’re aware of one of the reasons they’ve been hounded by the British press for the past 2-3 years. Even when were actively filming Potter they spoke about a reboot 20-30 years (Goblet of Fire was released 21 years ago) the line. It was obvious (at least to me) when they would say what character they’d come back was just to be nice… Like at one point Emma even said Hagrid… which should give you an idea of how serious she was about appearing in a reboot

I think that’s why Emma also said to Dan at the final premiere, ‘You were the perfect Harry, and you are going to be FOREVER’ If a reboot wasn’t something on their minds, why would she say it like that? Because she knew that one day, this question would come up, and he’d be compared to someone else. That’s what I think.

I just don’t get why they are doing a reboot of Harry Potter in the first place, the movies are good, the cast is perfect, like seriously who even asked for this?? Who wants to see the exact same stories just retold again with a different cast? They’ll be no plot twists, it’s just pure nostalgia people are watching it for. And a few added book things that didn’t make the movies. People have been asking for a marauders series for so long and that would’ve actually been a good series seeing young Sirius, Remus, James, Lily, Snape etc. it wouldn’t take 10 years to make, they also could’ve made it good for the adult audience who grew up with Harry Potter, it wouldn’t be a kids show. A whole new story that would still bring in the audiences bc they’re the characters we know and love and the story is familiar. Look at how successful house of the dragon the game of thrones prequel is. I just don’t get why the first thing they thought of for a HP series would be a reboot out of all of the things they could’ve done. Maybe if it was animated it would’ve been cool but seeing the same live action sequence done all over again just seems too much.

J.K. Rowling honestly seems fixated on mentioning the three main Harry Potter actors whenever she can. And let’s be real it feels personal. They didn’t align with her views, especially when everything started blowing up online, and I truly think she took that as a betrayal. She strikes me as someone who holds grudges, and yeah, I wouldn't put it past her to be a little petty or even try to pull strings behind the scenes.
Take Emma Watson, for example. After Harry Potter, she was everywhere doing well-respected films like Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Bling Ring, Beauty and the Beast, Little Women. She showed range, had critical praise, and was clearly still in demand. Then, all of a sudden, she just kind of disappeared from the spotlight.
Sure, Emma’s said she took a break to focus on herself, go back to school, and do more activism which is awesome and admirable. But at the same time, it does make you wonder why the offers slowed down so drastically. It’s not like her talent disappeared. Hollywood doesn’t usually just let someone with her resume fade out… unless something else is going on behind the scenes.

Let’s be honest Rowling still has a lot of power, especially with the Harry Potter brand, Warner Bros., HBO, all of that. And we’ve seen before how actors who speak out or go against the grain suddenly start getting fewer calls. So why wouldn’t that happen here too? Especially with Emma being one of the more outspoken ones when it came to distancing herself from Rowling’s views.
It just sucks, because Emma got so much unnecessary hate over the years whether it was from people judging her acting, or comparing her success post-Potter to others, or just making her the target of unfair criticism. But honestly, I’m glad she’s taking time for herself, staying away from all the drama, and living her life on her own terms. If Hollywood and certain people in power tried to freeze her out, then good for her for choosing peace over that nonsense.

No offense, but this wouldn’t even be happening if some of would’ve gotten over your Potter phase back when she started being a terf. Nobody asked for the show, but people still give Rowling attention, by getting merch, buying the new video game, going to fan-cons and going to the amusement park installations. A corporation like WB saw that money still comes from HP, so of course they’re gonna milk it. And honestly the trio (especially Dan) has genuinely tried so hard to get away from the Potter, I didn’t see them coming back in the first place (before Rowling became a terf). One could argue that Rupert would, but his stipulation was that they had to bring everybody back (which is the nice way of saying no, thanks in the industry). No offense to the TV show cast, but personally, I hope it gets cancelled after season 1…

imagine putting new, young kids into this, asking them to give up their childhood, school, and time to redo something that already exists, just to “get back” at the original cast. How could that end well?

Emma, Rupert, and Dan have said how hard it was to keep going for 10 years straight. And now, are the new kids really expected to compete with the original cast? That’s not fair to anyone.

Hey… did anybody see the article they the Sun put out… Listen I’m not usually a tinfoil hat person but… as a a corporate girly I’ve seen similar scenarios play out too often. Basically the boss man (Rowling or to an extent WB) makes a unrealistic or fucked up choice/request, then certain shareholders/employees veto it (anybody in the cast that isn’t a terf). There’s a bit of back and forth with the shareholders/employees (parts of the cast) trying to talk boss man out of the idea (the cast did try to talk her allegedly). Bossman (Rowling/WB) gets offended a goes ahead with the project, but not before cutting ties with the employees/share holders (parts of the cast). And goes on with said project, however they keep getting asked about the people they cut ties with. In some case impartial third parties (part of the older cast who agree with Rowling but haven’t spoken out against the ones who don’t like, Jason Issac) even try to intervene and smooth things over. It usually never actually works… Now some bosses (WB) will just move on with their life and keep going until they find yes men to fill the place of those who left (mostly the trio). Other ones however (Rowling) will actively try to fuck over the ones who left (cast who didn’t agree), but having other people “accidentally” talk shit of said employees/shareholders to deter people from taking the seriously, often citing age or experience. If the bossman (Rowling) had a particularly hard time when starting the business, it will be used as a sob story. And honestly yes it is actually sad, however in this instance it’s only being mentioned to make people side with them, not because they think that the ones who left (cast who aren’t terfs) didn’t actually feel bad for what happened. After that the smear campaign (Daily Fail and friends) usually starts once boss man (Rowling)has gotten the go ahead from a bank or investors (WB defending Rowling in the Rowling is a terf articles). It usually gets worse the closer they get to unveiling the project (HBO show) or the ones (parts of the cast) who left have been officially replaced/fucked over. Sometimes though, people who didn’t interfere still get caught in the smear campaigns as a way to send a message , either side with me, or get fucked… In other words don’t be surprised if the smear campaign against the ones who didn’t agree with Rowling, start up again when they have new projects (especially with WB) or when the show is about to be released.

Yes, I agree. As we get closer to the release, there are going to be more messages targeting the old cast. To me, it’s just marketing. I just hope they don’t take it too far, because they know they have power — and it won’t be easy for people to resist.

Also, I don’t believe Emma stopped because J.K. had the power to prevent her from getting work. If Emma wants to work, there’s space for her to do whatever she wants. But that doesn’t mean it hasn’t impacted her mentally and emotionally. It may have helped her realize that staying out of the public eye might actually be better for her. I also believe her decision had a lot to do with her experience on her last movie.

The Circle probably. She said she joined that movie because she liked the book, but the movie ends quite differently and really smooths over the rough edges of her character. That's probably the root of her saying she doesn't want to have to contradict herself to promote a movie based on its message rather than what she believes and wants to be involved from the start.

The reboot is never as good as the original. The series won’t be successful because the kids will grow up in the social media era. Young teenagers can’t handle criticism, shit most people can’t. Hollywood could destroy young actors, and the 3 new kids will have to deal with the attention for 10+ years.

That way neither Emma or Kieran’s stress due to their degrees, affects the baby whatsoever. And Kirean hopefully gets to relax upstairs with Eden. My speculation:
Emma Watson will end up with Brendan Wallace since, He is a self made centi millionaire, if not billionaire, he is very handsome, but most importantly, since she kept in touch with Brendan, this means that he was her ''backup'' option all along, and thus for her, he was an excellent choice. She tried again to get back with him, as evident of Emma's vacant boyfriend status, and Brendan's IG never posted about his GF before 2024, meaning that he was possibly still single. But, Brendan is now not single, and if he breaks up with his GF, he will have someone who is already ''waiting'' for him, (as evident from the fact that he was her backup option all along) and he would easily fall in love with her.
